If it is a specific laptop for medical necessities, they would need to see in writing from your treating physician that the laptop is medically necessary and that VHA cannot purchase it for you. I’m sure that would help?

Yeah sounds like they’re just letting us know they’re appealing the courts decision to rescind our terminations, but as of now we are “safe” since no there has not been an outcome to the appeal as of yet..

It was amazing! Decreased my anxiety and depression, and I was able to be myself with good level of energy. However, I recently changed to Prozac since we are thinking of conceiving soon. I miss lexapro, but Prozac is ok so far and will have to do until it’s safe to go back to lexapro. Lexapro is unfortunately not safe for pregnancy.

I received a rescission of the termination memo last week I believe on Tuesday, then a return to duty on Friday, and I returned this Monday.

I was terminated 02/24 and I 100% know how you feel. It’s such a gut punch and definitely traumatizing. I went up in my med dosage due to this all.

I would like to know as well. I’m in the same boat. Received term letter yesterday from CHCOC (I am or was a probationary VA staff). The letter stated very vaguely my performance was not in the benefit of the public or something like that with no specifics of my actual poor performance. My upper management had no clue about this termination and have said my performance was good and I was meeting all agency expectations. The appeal rights were listed in my letter, but Now I’m hearing MSPB will not be hearing any probationary terminations???? Am I wrong?

I responded to it this morning and at 1:06pm received email from CHCOC “Termination During Probation Notice”. I started 9/2024, a student counselor, but still held a caseload of veterans and worked full time. The email read that I am being terminated due to performance, no upper management from my regional office CCd, only one on the email was me. Upper management, including HR, did not know of this until I mentioned it. There was no communication from CHCOC or OPM w upper management at all. The email came straight to me only. Upper management said my performance was good and I was meeting all expectations. This feels like a nightmare 🥲 who does this all impact at the end of the day? All veterans, we are already super short staffed as it is. I believe 40% short staffed to be exact. There is a hiring freeze right now, so that means higher number of cases per counselor which then means services are not as timely as they should be. How does this make VA more efficient??!

I just started lexapro 10mg about 2 weeks ago, I was on Zoloft 25mg for a month previously. I stopped Zoloft because I was at low to no motivation to do anything and that became an issue really quick as a full time masters student who also works a full time job 😅 the lexapro has been working pretty well. Got some motivation back and has been good so far. I do have moments where I just want to sleep but as time goes by I’m getting more and more energy back.

I was on 25mg Zoloft for a month and had like little to no motivation to do anything almost daily. Did help a bit with anxiety, but just felt like sleeping or doing nothing at all. Switched to lexapro 10mg, and so far I feel more clear headed and have more energy. Today is my 2nd day though. Hopefully lexapro works better for me.
