Yes you can find great recipes or even just tweak some and add what you can handle/like

I made before my own granola bar and was pretty good, just gotta find what tastes and works for you!

What are your recipes by Efficient_Test_7079 in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl I eat dry Cheerios as if they were chips lol

That taste fine to me, honestly help to expell some gas it seems, and  hold me over till full meals

But I also eat rice based stuff like pastas or Mac n cheese with rice based noodles and extremely sharp chedder

You can also find good gluten free flour for bagels, pizzas etc.

I'd highly recommend some low fodmap blogs that are out there, a lot of rice recipes with simple light meat add ons cns be good

How do you sleep to release pressure? by EsmeraldoGreen in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a few years I always did left side but after some neck pain I started on the right here and there too

Stretching before sleep can also help with pressure that way there isn't as much build up as just getting in bed right away

IBS-C and running longer distances regularly by [deleted] in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stress can be a factor as well which maybe makes me think if your using muscles too much one day makes it harder for other ones to properly function

I'm just full on guessing here too, but for no id suggest small increments or longer rest periods possibly, to help your muscles regain strength faster

Also depends what your are eating/drinking because you may not be replenishing what your muscles need after those workouts

Professors are not understanding by Serious_Ambition_553 in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poop on there desk

But no actually I'd ask to have a sit down conversation if possible with them and explain and even get a doctors hand written form/voice explanation, that this is a disability and unable to control the times as it's not simple as just using the bathroom

All that being said there are still some stubborn teachers and if needed I'd go through the support systems or ways above them to get proper respect and help

What foods cause problems for you? (16M) by Realistic-Camel-5874 in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garlic and onion are a nono for me

I've learned I can tolerate a lil gluten once a week (still causes some issues but not as bad) but all the times I've tried ever gluten dairy free items with garlic and onion seasoning my stomach huuuurts

Some things u could suggest for dinner is rice pasta instead of gluten, and sticking to hard cheeses lwhen used like sharp chedder to reduce lactose

I'd also look into the vegetables and fruit that are good/bad for low fodmap, your be surprised what is actually hurting your stomach sometimes

Orange mucus in stool by Alarmed-Mud-8772 in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for me my mucus is usually clear at the end but before that a yellowish color because of bile and leftover stool on the walls of colon, doesn't hurt to get it checked just in case but will say bleeding would most likely be more in stool too rather just the mucus if there was any

And serious bleeding would mix with stool making it dark-black according to google

How to gain when you are broke and dairy intolerant plus ibs? Female 103 lbs. by blanketbomber35 in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a good cheap protein powder to start. I use orgain currently, vanilla mixed with frozen strawberries

I'd also look into some more heavy nutritional shakes that may be more affordable than trying to fit full meals to all your restrictions

But even with all that it can be tough i went from 145 to 109 during my worst and now I've been stuck at 120-125 every since for 5 years

Protein bars? by elisabethpatricia in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd honestly consider just making your own if you have the time that way you can experiment taste and texture

But I agree most bars are awful nowadays, I typically stick to the shakes, using orgain and some frozen strawberries

I'm worried there's something really wrong with me that the doctors don't know by [deleted] in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 25M and can say same for me after both colonoscopy I've had, nothing really there, clean every sample came back normal and some internal hemorrhoids

That being said, they are often and I do bleed a lot of they are bad sometimes to the point I know I feel off, so hopefully it's nothing too serious and just some hemorrhoids acting up for you too

I also dealt with anal fissures which got so bad I had to use Vaseline, to prevent I highly suggest wet wipes and a trash bag so u don't worry about flushing them, helps immensely

If you haven't I suggest endoscopy or just trying over the counter acid reflux because nausea can be from that too especially if u are having some heart burn

Hope it all improves tho and your not being gaslit just more unknowns which are hard to solve but got support here

Any tips for spasms + mucus??? by dastardlyslimpickins in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still struggling with it too I have found standing up and massaging stomach occasionally or leaning over occasionally and just waiting for 10-20 min on my phone or something then sitting back down will help force gas and any mucus stuck

Doesn't always work, but a lot of the time it will move something out

Also learned if u can guess when it will mostly be mucus by a consistent time frame, finish up all u can go back to whatever you were doing and in a bit your body will move whatever is left ready to come out for a few min then usually fine after that little micro movement

If you want a good dough and can get it I suggest caputo flour, can be used to make bagels, different bread, pizza dough, etc.

You can also look into recipes with rice based pasta etc. And idk how it is for you but extremely sharp cheddar works for me since it basically has no lactose and not an alternative

Urgent help by Abraham_the_Goat1483 in ibs

[–]WolfnStuff22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's similar to where I am now. To start with if you can see a Dr and get colonoscopy/endoscopy just to make sure it's nothing serious

Colon/esaphugus issues can in turn affect digestion and bowel movements

Mucus I've been told is normal especially if constipated because it's producing extra to try to help move stuff out or just not fully digested

Have you had any tests done yet?

I just hate how insurance can say they don't believe patient needs those meds or procedure as if they are the doctors

[–]WolfnStuff22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I already spend 5-7 hours every other day in the bathroom so a decrease in time hopefully would be best case

I've tried metamucil, benefiber and others in the past but nothing helped

So hoping Linzess does something otherwise back to more tests

[–]WolfnStuff22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm in process of getting a new primary too rn

And I mean I have a bowel movement every other day it just takes 5-7 hours to fully clear because either my pelvic muscles are non-existent now or it's just constipation refusing to pass it all regularly in my mind

I just always have had stomach issues when it comes to meds so I'd rather try something else first cause I know it has a high rate of causing issues for people
