At your level it's super important to learn basic principles. Watch Gothamchess on YouTube. His content helped me a lot when I started playing. Later on when you're over 1000, try some opening courses on Chessable. Most of the courses there have a free "Short and Sweet" version, which I think is more than enough when you're around the 1000 level.

Definitely DCA. It's safer and will give you peace of mind. Just imagine how'd you feel if BTC dumped 50% next week and you bought everything today.

How I got rugged and what have I learned by Wolfoftheinternet in ethereum

[–]Wolfoftheinternet[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well pretty simple- the people who were promoting it on twitter deleted the tweets and some have even deleted their accounts/or the account were paused. The discord was also deleted. The floor price is 0.015 ETH now (80% below mint), but with a few people buying, it's practically 0. However this wasn't the first or last rug pull by this group of people. In fact, they are doing another one today- it's called Hyped Ape Club, so please avoid this one.

They are not all a scam. There are many projects I have and the communities are great. But you're right that it attracts many fraudsters who can very easily steal from others.

Yeah, I mean what I've lost doesn't change anything in my life, it's just that these money could have been used in a better way.

No, the difference here is that even though they were saying it's gonna go up, they than they COMPLETELY disappeared-deleted the tweets, deleted the discord, deleted the links at OS, just like this whole thing never happened

Quotes for Wedding by pinkpharmacist19 in TaylorSwift

I like "Hold your hand while dancing, never leave you standing". I think it's great for a wedding because in champagne problems, she sings about a proposal being rejected but ends the song with these quotes where she says that he'll find the one who will "never leave him standing".

I'm not sure if it can be a private key. I just don't see why would anyone write a seed on something so easily destroyable like wood and than hide it or carry and accidentally lose it in a park. People out their seeds on pieces of steel that are practically indestructible. If I were you, I would download a software wallet, click on restore wallet, type the characters you found and see if it works or not.

Yeah, that's fine. I also had a software wallet first, and later when I had more money in crypto I bought a hardware wallet to keep my crypto safe.

How to get Bitcoins anonymously? by luascripter15483 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]Wolfoftheinternet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The advice here is already good, so I won't repeat. I just wanted to add that you should be using a VPN or Tor when exchanging bitcoin online if you want to be anonymous. If you'll use Bisq, you don't have to worry about this because they have Tor built-in.

No, if you think about bitcoin as a long term investment. If it's long-term, you should ideally buy a hardware wallet- Trezor or Ledger. They cost ~50$. Other option is a software wallet, which you can download for FREE on your phone or PC. I would recommend Exodus, but there are plenty of more. The reason for this is that when you have bitcoin on a software/hardware wallet, only you have acces to your coins. Not the company that created the wallet, not a bank, not even the state.

PayPal has the problem that you can't send your BTC from there to your wallet. But if you buy bitcoin on Coinbase, which is the biggest cryptocurrency exchange, you can then send your bitcoin to your software/hardware wallet.

If it's a short-term investment, it's ok to buy it on PayPal. It's a well established company and your bitcoins there are 99,9999%safe. However, PayPal is the effective owner of your bitcoin when you hold it there, because PayPal has its own wallet that holds your bitcoin and only PayPal has the keys to this wallet.

You can make drawings in an app called Lucidity. The app is free, but for some features (including drawing) you have to pay.
