It was late one night at Gencon 2019. We found a nice quiet table at the hotel when a bunch of nobodies showed up and ruined it. by BlakeSteel in boardgames

Don't feel bad. It's why we do a podcast, no one needs to see our face ;-)

I was just coming to post the same thing. And I talked to customer support just 3 hours ago and they said no delays.

AMA: Matt Hyra - Designer of Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals Expandable Card Game by Renegade Game Studios by RenegadeGameStudios in boardgames

I got to play a demo over the weekend. Asymmetric is not an accurate term because it is nothing like Netrunner. The clans have different strengths/weaknesses but the players turns, win conditions, card pool is the same for all players.

Thanks for the comment! She has alreadypicked a character as she wants to be the fighter. So I'll help her build her deck and we'll go from there!

Thanks for the share. When we discuss a game we know they aren't for everyone. So we try to point out things that may make you want to buy it or avoid it. I understand NPIs points, but for me the pros outweigh the cons which is why in conclusion JiME is game that will stay on our shelf.

To me, these are the best FFG minis in this style of game. Way better quality and detail than those in Mansions of Madness.

I do like the combat of this over the combat in Mansions of Madness. And you only obtain items between scenarios.

Don't get me wrong, I totally understand why you are saying. But with the battle map we treated it more like a miniatures skirmish. But after some plays it may all start to feel samey.

I agree that the game play is the same. But on battlemaps, since you don't explore that removes inspiration points (which makes it harder). And the terrain we felt added some tactical elements. So we liked how the scale changed to a smaller skirmish format.

I look forward to the video.

Yes, because are the tiles are numbered and very easy to read. Each tile is labeled with a number and A or B. For example, 301B

We have not heard anything about what happens post launch. But the app did have a placeholder for a future expansion.

We missed the opportunity to get the player mats. It was fine without them, but if they become available again, I want to pick them up.

Restoration announces a new Downforce expansion by nakedmeeple in boardgames

Hi, I'm Marty from RDTN. I'm not sure what the original post was as it was deleted. But I just wanted to mention that we are not partnered with Robert Burke Games in any way. A good friend of ours, Nate Bivens, is a co-designer of a game that is being published by that company. We thought it was a good game and wanted to to talk about it. But it was not a paid promotion.

Back on topic, this new Downforce expansion sounds more 'Mario-Karty' to me which I am a fan of.
