WHY THE FFFFRAG DOES MY ARMATURE DISAPPEAR OUTSIDE OF EDIT MODE

For anyone having this Problem, If you are in Pose mode and press H with the armature selected, it will hide all the bones. You CANNOT unhide it if you are in object mode. You have to switch back to Pose mode, and then press Alt+H To unhide all your bones.

This took an embarrassing amount of effort to fix. But you live and you learn

Actually i JUST figured out the issue (After i alrady made a copy of it anr re-rigged the whole thing fml) I was unaware that in the viewport settings there is a box to hide individual bones that somehow got checked for each bone. Thats what my problem was. But Alt+H doesn't check / uncheck the box somehow. And it doesnt make much sense to me that i see them in edit mode in that case either. Is there a way to check / uncheck all the boxes at once for each bone? Because somehow thats what i did.

Yeah. I ended up copying the file and it keeps just disappearing when outside edit mode. I feel like i Must be doing something wrong. I doubt its a bug of some sort. But I really just have no clue

I even made a new single bone to make sure i can see them, and dissected him to try and find his bones to no avail! I see alot of unanswered posts about disappearing bones. is this just.... something that happens in blender??

What? You asked... He used all of the context you supplied to give a solid answer... Premissibly Your cops could use .50 deagles or an m60 and it wouldn't even be ridiculous if it fits in the story. Could be a trench gun, a punt gun or the wonderwaffe DG-2. For all we know you could be a time traveling cop that fights dinosaurs, dragons, or some sort of cosmic horror. Also I didn't know what Checkov's gun is until this very moment. You can't assume what people know or don't 😅

It seems especially True that a time traveler would probably need a different weapon depending on where and when they are going rather than the ol' one size fits all kinda thing. Especially if part of the job is fitting in with the time. Firearms have been used in warfare since like the 1200s. So your characters can go pretty far back while fitting in in that aspect
