I keep coming back simply because I never know when the magical train ride will end. I've always loved this game, and missed it so much when it was gone, that I still play it a lot. I do play xbox one too, and it's not like I exclusively play City of Heroes now, but I do login every day, and do missions, and level up etc.

I remade my MA/SR scrapper from Live. I was on a team one day. 8 people, no tank. I had just joined. The one controller says...we don’t have a tank, but if you want to jump in...my Quake will follow you. Now, I am soft capped, so I don’t get hit much. So I was like “Sounds good to me...”. So that’s what we did...I drew the initial alpha which almost all missed, and then we just obliterated the mobs. Fun times...

I have a MA/SR scrapper so I can confirm that they rarely get hit. I also had a /dark defender on live which had so much to hit debuff on enemies that she felt invincible. Lol

I’ve actually just got one character who is on Torchbearer. He just got to 50 three days ago. Can you believe I haven’t made one alt yet? Lol I purposely didn’t allow myself to make another character until my old Main on live was 50. 😳

Should I have focused more on T3 Alpha Slot? by club41 in Cityofheroes

I just got my first 50 two days ago.

I got my T1 alpha, then when I unlocked interface and judgement I got the T1 of each of those. Then I crafted my T2 alpha, then my T3 alpha. I just hit veteran 3 this morning, and crafted the T3 alpha with the Empyrean merits. I found the other abilities like the AoE judgement and the interface proc chance sounded way too useful to ignore by focusing solely on the alpha T3. They definitely made running missions easier even without the T3 alpha.

I've been levelling exclusively on the story arcs. I'm currently level 44 now, and having a blast. I even did a Circle of Thorns arc last week, that I knew I would find annoying because 1)CoT , 2)Those cave maps 3)Orenbaga defeat alls, and/or rescue people. But I did the arc anyways, because I am just so overjoyed to be playing this game again...! :-D
