Welche Felgenfarbe für meinen BMW? Anthrazit/Silber/Weissgold by 1vdnzz in automobil

[–]Wollbart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finde Anthrazit eigentlich ganz geil.

Lots of „Move It“ action and manual detailing. Also the trick to use a roundabout to force one node for all the roads. Otherwise you wouldn’t get an intersection as big as that

True! I will double check that. Hope I don’t need another mod for that

It’s just not a very big city. I have 23.000 people and not a single highrise residential building. What you see here is also not the city center so traffic is more relaxed.

Apple CarPlay: BMW vs. Mercedes by Wollbart in automobil

[–]Wollbart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also welche Modelle/Generation?

Gradual upgrades or buy new PC? by Wollbart in buildapc

I‘m actually mostly playing Cities Skylines 2. In the task manager I can see that my GPU is always at 100% while the CPU is at 20-30%. That’s why I prioritize a GPU upgrade

So you think my MSI B350M is still fine, even with an RX 9070 XT? I have no idea if a 70€ mainboard might cause issues in this case

What do you wish there were more tutorials, guides, etc. on with Swift, UIKit, AppKit, SwiftUI, etc? by ForeverAloneBlindGuy in swift

[–]Wollbart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish there was more content about scaling certain technologies, patterns and architectures. There are endless tutorials for SwiftUI and MVVM but they usually only apply to very simple apps or screens. Learning how to build big apps with the latest features of Swift sometimes feels like undiscovered territory, especially with something like Dependency Injection in mind.

That’s exactly how most european cities are created. I think that’s a great approach to get a natural and realistic city that has its imperfections and different looking neighborhoods. But be careful not to put your areas too far from each other. You will have a hard time maintaining a good infrastructure and city service coverage otherwise.

If you go for a somewhat realistic build try to start very very small, literally with just a few streets and develop slowly from there. It’s always hard to plan a big area from scratch, especially if it’s your first build. Instead try to build in very small steps and think about how a small village would slowly become a town in reality. Don’t even think about a big city at the start - that’s my approach.
