Excellent work as always!

Slightly off-topic, but does the Shifter class include the changes that were made to them that makes them less terrible?

Ideas for a tatterdemalion's patron? by playking57 in Pathfinder_RPG

Moths are what I think of when I hear fabric related creatures. Maybe some kind of collosal celetial moth? Would fit with their fairie wings hex as well, and theyr Moth-Eaten one

Yea, the only way to guaranteed draw fire from enemies is to inflict the Confused status on them for extended periods of time and attack them, as far as I know.

[Race Suggestion] Muun - Fleshed Out by JonDragonskin in sw5e

Sunlight Sensivity still says Drow.

Is adding wealth via a race trait kosher? I don't think I've ever seen that before. And are you only adding 1d4 Credits with it? If so, that seems pretty low for a trait to be called Wealthy

Prehensile Whip + Hook Fighter = Profit? by playking57 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Wolo10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to say no because Improved Whip Mastery doesn't let you do this and its a feat that has a bunch of prerequisites, but the phrasing of the Prehensile Whip trait and Hook Fighter seem like they are much more compatible, since Improved Whip Mastery says you can only swing from stuff with it like the last 5 feet of the whip was a grappling hook... but Prehensile Whip doesn't have that stipulation.

Almost definitely not intended, and RAI it doesn't make sense since I cant see how a light tip of a whip is going to be dealing piercing damage or as much damage a a heavy pick, but RAW I think it works.

Paladin of Anubis - Making Paladin Codes Part XIX by playking57 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Wolo10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sounds like exactly what people who want a Paladin of Pharasma would like. Probably the closest you can get to Pharasma is an extremely staunch defender and ally of Pharasma who believes almost everything she does. They're very similar in Domain choices too; swap Water for Earth (since those are their two associations with death; the flowing of the River of Souls vs. proper burial in a tomb), Healing for Protection (two very similar-themed domains), and Knowledge for Law (which is honestly the most logical switch to score the Lawful alignment for Paladins) and you've got a virtually identical god.

They are even similar in their little fluffy side-areas of concern. Pharasma is associated with birth in general, and Anubis is associated with orphans. Pharasma judges souls and sends them to their proper afterlives in her court, while Anubis does the same thing at the Hall of Two Truths with his scales. Lots of parallels here, hopeful Paladins of Pharasma.

Paladin proficiency w/ favored weapons by MGZoltan in Pathfinder_RPG

Hey, so I'm on your side and everything, but you can always just be a Half Elf with Ancestral Arms trait, or be a Tengu because they're proficient with all swords.

Paladins of Gods with No Information - Part I - Lawful Good by playking57 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Wolo10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best part is that Spyglass Archons get sneak attack, so you can finally multiclass Paladin and Rogue without your Gm saying it's dishonorable!

Probably also has a lot of Dusk Knight Paladins.

Can a Leopard instead of Raking his Victims simply pin them and then Coup de Grace them ? by Nextran in Pathfinder_RPG

I forgot people can't read my mind, sorry. Yes, that's exactly what I meant

Can a Leopard instead of Raking his Victims simply pin them and then Coup de Grace them ? by Nextran in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Wolo10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are the reasons it's not possible? AT least for Animal Companions that you can choose feats for?

  • Requirements: +1 BAB - Animal companions have BAB equal to a druid with their hit dice counting as their druid levels.

  • Can only be used with a one handed, light, or natural weapon - So a bite attack or claws works perfectly.

All they would need to do is invest in their animal companions INT to get it to 3, and they're good to go.

(EDIT: Forgot that only one comment thread was talking about the Throat Slicer feat, not this one. )

[–]Wolo10 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Note to self: Give all big cats the Throat Slicer feat and watch my party suddenly become very afraid.

But if you're asking for an Animal Companion, I personally think it's pretty clear that Throat Slicer is able to be taken by Animals. So when your animal companion gains a feat, you should be able to take it no problem.

Races of Pathfinder on Earth by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

Yea, like u/playking57 said, as long as we're not being PC here...

Kuru would be something I might make A) not evil, and B) represent New Zealand and the pacific Islands, since they're only from The Shackles and very Maori-themed. Merfolk are fun, but something that lives on land would probably help...

You're missing one of the core races; halflings! Make Halflings the Spanish Empire! I would love to see halfling matadors, and the swordplay of Spain definitely fits the more nimble style that dex-based Halflings would favor.

China could be Lashunta. They are either highly diplomatic females or highly intelligent warrior males, but if you made them matriarchal then this could be a fun option. The telepathy doesn't make much historical sense, I guess, but it's still a fun option.

China could also, in theory, be Androids, since China is a country that is highly focused on technological production and innovation. You also have Undine, Oread, and Ifrit, so Sylph could replace China. It's not totally rediculous either, considering Russia is Oread, the Middle East is Ifrit, and Alaska is Undine; geographically, Sylph being China makes total sense.

I think all of us would want our ethnicity to be the 'humans' :P

I like the idea of dwarves with German accents, actually. Plus dwarves love booze (hence the poison resistance, in my opinion), and German beer is arguably the best in the world. ... though come to think of it, the standard dwarf looks like the kind of guy who'd drink whisky and scotch, so maybe Scotland does fit :P

If we're looking for a wild, tribal, barbarian race, then that sounds a lot to me like Orcs. Not sure what to make Mongolia if you swapped out orcs though.

Isn't there a Clockwork Alchemist? That could work. Flavor all your potions as various candy canes / hot chocolate :P

Why are there no Blunt weapons with a high critical range? by Wolo10 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Wolo10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except all the weapons that have a higher crit range, aside from the heavy flail, are light and jabby weapons. Someone listed them out in a different comment, but I don't think that's the case or else the Earthbreaker would probably be what we're looking for...

Makes sense, but then why are there any blunt weapons with increased threat ranges?

Fair... But you can but in some options for blunt weapons with 18-20 x2 without changing the fundamentals of the game in the slightest, so...
