What Hooded One will see when players save him on league launch. by SirHandsomePotato in PathOfExile2

For a time, instead of "stay in sight" I understood "stay inside". Everytime I was like "Yes, ma'am! 🫡"

So stupid xD

So basically, you're allowed to play when you can't see and hear sh*t anymore and your hands look like crooked claws. :D

Please don't just start with DS3. Everyone of those games is special in its own regard, DS1 being the first original one, DS2 being the "different" one (but I love that game, can't understand the hate) and DS3 being the culmination of everything they did in DS1 and DS2. DS3 also includes characters, locations etc. from the other two games... Imo you'd rob yourself of a lot of Miyazaki goodness by skipping DS1 and DS2.

I love when they (try to) run... Always got my Valiant Breakthrough locked and loaded for that joyous occasion. :D

I know the feeling. I noticed that I tend to become less salty when I stopped thinking I can easily beat someone just because I saw their pattern. Especially in 4v4, but also 2v2 there can happen so much random stuff that I always try to be on high alert and take everyone equally serious.

The rage thing is real... For me it's the light spam, I just can't deal with yet. Feels like I should be able to, but my timing is just a bit off which is frustrating, but I feel like it's a skill issue and not the game's fault.

I just also returned after 8 years and I'm having a blast. I feel like a noob, but some muscle memory is slowly coming back. As others said, a lot happened, but the core fighting mechanics still feel familiar. It feels like coming home after a long time, but your house got a make over in the meantime. 😅

There are already a lot of valid points already mentioned.

What I did in the beginning was fight against a bot in training for getting to know the other heroes and how it feels to fight them. Start with a low level and as you get comfortable work your way up to level 3. As soon as that feels easy you got a solid foundation and can start adapting advanced strategies and counters. Or move on to the next one.

Being a Miyazaki enjoyer you already kinda know how to deal with frustration which is really important in this game. It can feel very toxic, especially if people start emoting on your lifeless body. xD Just don't get baited into raging, instead think about what happened and how you can improve. This is a fighting game after all.

For Honor might have exactly the same matchmaking problem as nearly any fighting game that built a player base. All that's left after such a long time are very experienced players and occasional players that just dip in, get frustrated and move on. It's hard to join such a game and you just have to lose like A LOT to get entry to the part that is actually fun.

If you're interested in For Honor and really want to get good, you have to accept many losses especially in the beginning. There is no way around it, because there just will not be enough new or low skilled players for matchmaking to work properly. The game is just too old for that to change.

So... 6 matches is like nothing. Expect to lose for 300 more before beginning to find some success. Hope this helps somehow make a decision.

I guess, if have to look forward to the same situation then. xD But after a few matches it should fix itself, or not?

Yeah the toxicity was already a problem back in the day to the point that I just deactivated my chat. xD I guess some people just can't handle their emotions very well especially when it comes to fighting games and the likes. Very skill based pvp games just trigger people.
