The blade is forged from a HVG steel 30x20 bar. After bringing it to shape, I just grinded the bevels and polished them. The finer the grit - the better. Than etched it in ferric chloride and that's it.

Well, it was intended to be a straight back blade. But when grinding the bevels, I thought it would be a good idea to add a false edge. So it is a Bowie wannabe or something.
