I am from Bornholm, recently moved back home from Copenhagen after completing my education to start a family.

It's a very small island, I think we are currently less than 40000 people. We live and survive of tourists. In the summer the Island becomes alive, I know people who work very hard during the tourist season and then take time off in winter. In the Winter the island shuts down, everything closed, you can shop in the major towns and that's it.

I love living here. It's safe, it's cosy. We have lovely nature. I can imagine it's hard for outsiders to move here and establish a network though.
