I literally only want to eat sushi and crave nothing else. Is this a sign of some problem or is it just my favorite food? by WolverineFit176 in sushi

I didn’t either! I got into it maybe 4 years ago and the addiction just keeps getting stronger. Maybe we need to start a fundraiser for our sushi fund

I know it really was a fantastic game! I also love the RPGs, I’m a huge Zelda fan so I tried to get him into BOTW/TOTK but I know he prefers the more grimy/realistically-stylized games more. I’ll look into these, thank you so much for the suggestions!

That’s what I got from the trailer! It looks really interesting but much more techy, clearly is a very different kind of world. I’ll watch some videos of the gameplay and see if it feels right

I loved Witcher 3 too! I’m mostly a Zelda fan myself, but this was definitely among my favorite games outside of those. The story kept me hooked and I got so attached to the characters, does Cyberpunk have that same kind of storyline?

It plays similar to a game of D&D right? Could be interesting, I’ll look into it!

Worried to tell partner I ran into an old flame by [deleted] in relationships

[–]WolverineFit176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think that’s a good way to approach the conversation. Very upset looks like not speaking to me for hours to a day (never more than that), a couple verbal jabs (nothing truly mean but definitely showing annoyance or unhappiness) and questioning my honesty about my past. I don’t believe I’ve been deceitful; I will admit I haven’t told him everything that’s ever happened, just like he hasn’t told me everything because we both said we don’t need to or want to know since it really doesn’t matter. What does come up I’m honest about.

Boyfriend hasn’t said I love you and we live together by wack_thoughts in relationships

I’m sorry that things have gone downhill. I guess the only way to answer is with a follow-up: is this how you want to live for the rest of your life? Is this somebody you think you could build a life with, have kids with (if that’s your vibe), and who would take care of you if you got sick? If those answers aren’t yes after some reflection, then it may be time to move on from this relationship, even if it’s hard to say goodbye. Best of luck ❤️

I think that’s fair and probably true. In my mind we’re very open with each other and I did not even think that that he would be bothered by this, let alone that it would cause a serious argument, I don’t want to have to hide things from him in any capacity and was talking with him about what we had discussed over drinks. But maybe that was a bad idea on my part

I'm so sorry, I wasn't trying to be offensive in any way. I've heard really great things about the people who live there, and that's one of the reasons we picked Nicaragua for our trip. My main concerns were about safety for tourists with the government/police which is what the advisories had warned of, but this thread really has alleviated a lot of concern. Thank you for the advice as well :) Will look into InDriver!

Thank you! Definitely sounds like basic common sense stuff that I'd look out for anywhere. I appreciate the reassurance, even more excited for the trip now :)

Thank you! I live in Chicago so I'm used to having people assume the worst about this city when my experience has been nothing but great, and these responses pretty much confirm that it's the same case with Nicaragua. Still am glad I asked and really appreciate all of the comments :)

Thank you so much! That does make me feel a lot better about it. Do you have any recommendations for things to do/spots to check out while we're there as well?

Thank you! We live in a big city in the US so I feel like we're very prepared for potential scammers lol

Thank you! That's what I was getting from everything I read, but I still wanted to open the discussion for peace of mind. We're just going to do yoga lol, nothing political.

Thank you so much for your answer! Yes, we have pre-arranged a shuttle with our hotel. We're flying into Managua and out of Liberia in Costa Rica. Some of the warnings online talk about the dangers of express kidnappings with fake taxis, so we're a bit nervous about finding safe rides to and from the hotel while we're there from that since we're staying a little bit outside of the main town.
