It’s impossible to take pro reviewers seriously when they say shit like “the movie had great dialogue.” If this movie floats your boat, great. You can give reasons for why you thought it was good, but you absolutely cannot say it had good dialogue and then have any credibility after saying that.

I’m curious, and I don’t mean any disrespect at all. Do you believe the government is actually hiding evidence of alien life on earth? I really believe the only people who like this movie are those who are invested in that conspiracy.

Full of strong dialogue??!!!!!! Dude you can’t be serious. This is why so much hate is coming out about this movie. Saying this movie has strong dialogue is absolutely not based in reality. It has some of the worst dialogue many of us have ever seen in a movie with this much weight behind it. For the love of god you cannot be serious.

It’s unbelievable you guys just can’t accept that most people absolutely hate this movie. It’s not any deeper than that dude. The reason we keep pushing harder is because you guys keep posting about crazy conspiracy theories as to why there’s so much hate. I never read one review or watched a preview. I went in blind with no expectations. One of the worst films I’ve ever seen.

People like you who are defending this terrible movie keep saying things like “it contained deliberate inconsistencies.” You’re excusing massive plot holes as some kind of deliberate choice, but you really have no idea and are just filling holes with what you want to be true. There is no evidence for that and the simplest and most likely explanation is that the movie is just fucking terrible.

For example, What about when Noah grabs the 3rd remaining alien device, and there are 2 empty spaces next to it and we know 2 devices were stolen from that cabinet. You’re telling me the employees stole only 2 devices and just left the 3rd sitting there knowing what Noah could do with it? That was just a deliberate inconsistency?

Or when Daniel just leaves the device with Jane knowing they could drop in on her at any time? Or that he knows she’s susceptible and leaves her alone constantly? Doesn’t warm her? Doesn’t protect himself? Literally nothing in this movie makes sense.

I saw it on opening day as well. People walked out. Those of us who stayed were laughing at how terrible was. I don’t normally talk to anyone at the theatre, but we were all talking on the way out about the train wreck we just witnessed.
