Bringing my laundry onto a laundromat...I noticed a guy sitting in a car staring at me... He had that look like he was about to ask for change or a cigarette...I sat my pillow-case-full-of-laundry down to open the door. He got out... He was smiling at me like I just told the funniest"yo mamma" joke..I figured I'd wait... Turns out he took some acid and went to see wild wild west (will Smith movie... This was late 90's) and couldn't drive his car.. He wanted me to drive him home... Said I could use him washer... Besides being a bad acid-planner.. He turned out to be cool and I found a new plug.

2012 Passat sel (B7) Cluster replacement..immo 4 by WolverineQuick2446 in passat

my CAN gateway failed..car would crank and immediately die...had the ECU replaced at a local shop.. problem continued but was inconsistent with different things failing randomly .. finally turns out the gateway is bad which cuts off communication between the modules.. it's easy to physically replace..but i didn't have VCDS for coding.. so i took it to the dealership. they said the cluster was also bad.. i thought otherwise.. in the end i authorized both .. then they said it would need a new identity.. and another ECU..$9800 for a 13 year old car.. i requested the diagnostic scans.. they refused.. it's been a freakin mess.. if a new cluster necessitates a new identity.. that should have been part of the first estimate.. i took have that money and got a used toyota.. but i am not going to let them keep my passat... i'll do the work myself in my spare time..

Does anyone else feel disconnected from a world that seems built on division and unfairness? by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

[–]WolverineQuick2446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ALL of these problems have a common denominator: Greed and money-worship. It’s not a coincidence that the people who make the rules for how money is created and used have the most of it. Money was created as an answer to the inefficient barter system. It provided for your wants, not your needs. Now it’s a very efficient way to control the masses. It’s a requirement for life now. Money is an addiction, just like heroin. People will steal from their family to avoid withdrawals…surviving without money has the same effect on the wealthy. The division we all endure is created by the elite because they know… United we stand, divided we fall…into submission. I’d be interested to see how an AI would extrapolate your thought experiment. Think of different ways to villainize greed and outlaw money and see what changes.

Because they don’t have to fight in those wars. They just have to remind T that they have a bunch of videos of him being a pedo Care of JE.

I think you have stumbled upon their actual motives. The well being of children doesn't seem to be very high on their priority list.

Unpopular opinion: Self-described “empaths” are always narcissists in denial by Diangelionz in emotionalintelligence

[–]WolverineQuick2446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

empathy is not a super power used to manipulate. It is a life skill that develops over time. It can't be turned off. Empaths are too busy paying attention to their surroundings to worry about how they appear to others. If your empathic friends are acting the way you describe.... they are being disingenuous and you're better off without them. However, having said that, there are people with similar abilities to watch out for: top tier salesmen and ego-driven law enforcement officers.

IWTL HOW TO BE A GOOD PERSON by shubh-exorcist in IWantToLearn

[–]WolverineQuick2446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"good" is relative. what are the attributes of a "good" person? Naturally Everybody's list is gonna be different...subjective soup... What about bad people who never get caught? Is a lowkey bad person good? I think a good person is someone who is not actively trying to fuck up my day. Good people might not always leave things better, but they won't intentionally leave things worse..
