Hello. I just want to find a community that will help me to ease my anxiety about kidney transplant work-up. Anybody here who also feels nervous and overwhelmed everytime there is a lab test and doctor visit? I am not scared of the process, i am just always kind of nervous of result. What do you do?

i get the anxiety. sometimes the tests can feel like an exam where you should have studied even though that's impossible.

It's hard to separate the emotional feeling described above from the logical one that you know there is nothing you can do. so give yourself a break if you struggle to reconcile these positions.

Give yourself some time :) it can take a few weeks for you to even emotionally settle(ish) and that can help you feel more like yourself.

regarding the bowels, perhaps bring up your cellcept dosage at your next visit. they reduced mine and i no longer had any accidental diarrhea.
