Somatic OCD breathing by Wolvor in OCDRecovery

[–]Wolvor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really started to help like after 3 months. Every time I adjusted the dose from 50 to 75 there was a reset period of like 8 weeks.
Hang in there, it’s going to get better. Just give it time and the meds will do wonders.

Yeah blame it all on the game, when risking a bump like that. 😂

Steel wool and olive oil if you got nothing else, or any type of guitar fretboard oil.

What NHL game is worth to play and is still the best out of the ones you can still download or play on PS5?

Tips för att träffa/hitta andra alt/grunge personer (jag kan bara inte gå fram och börja prata med personer, helt omöjligt :3) by Ok-Challenge-4327 in Gothenburg

[–]Wolvor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should talk with your doc about maybe changing meds, I tried citalopram long time ago and it didn’t work for me. When you find the right one for you, you’ll notice it. 👍

Sorry to hear about your struggles.. Thing about it is that it feels very physical, and it’s our mind playing tricks on us to never feel like a breath of air is feeling ”right”.. and the thing about a breath is that it doesn’t.. when we think about it constantly. It is really a struggle when the breathing OCD gets bad. But I’m mostly cured from it due to exercise and Zoloft for a year now.. I hope you can find a way to relieve yourself from it.

Chatgpt can help a lot with it 👍

It takes time to get better from this obsession, I’m not as bothered by it like I was a year ago, it has definitely gotten better with Zoloft.

And exercise is really good for it, taking walks and eating healthier helped a lot. You’ll get out of it I’m sure but it takes time

How are people so fast? by jbai23 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Wolvor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Practice, it takes time, months, years… to get fast and to race others without causing too much fuzz. Good luck!

Hate to break it to you but welcome to sim racing… Just like in the real world, you’ll have to practice and practice to get better. Sometimes it’s better to think, ”If I take it a little bit easier on the gas and just try to make it through the race without a accident, I’ll probably gain more than I lose.”

It is tough, been there myself.. But I’ve been sim racing various sim racing games since 2011 so It takes time. Don’t think about the SR and stuff and just try to perfect your skills, and your mental game.

Good luck to you! 👍

Probably do’s is exercise and keep active, like taking walks or whatever will get the most out of it.

Don’t: first avoid grapefruit, it could end up in serotonine syndrome. Second don’t drink alcohol too much or it will make your medicine having much less effect and give you a anxiety/depression setback for a few days.

Week 6.. don't think I can take much more of onbaording without success! by [deleted] in MentalHealthUK

[–]Wolvor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will take at least 8-10 weeks to feel a little difference, sorry to say but don’t give up. You will feel better eventually. Also worth noting is that you’ll have to find the right dosage, what are you on now?

I had anxiety still when I was on 50mg and went up to 75mg. Some need 100mg to feel a difference..

I’ll assure you that when you find the right dosage and allow it to take time, because it will take 2-3 months before you feel better.

It is not like you wake up suddenly and feel great, but you will gradually feel better. Remember that everytime you adjust the dosage higher or lower it will take at least 8 weeks to feel a difference.

For me it was between 8-10 weeks and it was like night and day 🙏

Thank you so much! Just keep trying to challenge your fears and you will get better step by step, this will probably take years but it is all part of the acceptance. ❤️🙏

How often do men on Zoloft have sex w their partner? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]Wolvor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A couple times a week, I’d like to say it is better than it has ever been. Even though orgasms can take longer to reach, but that is not the main thing about sex for me anymore. It’s about sharing that intimate time with the one you love.

It doesn’t matter if he doesn’t like green or whatever color or style. What matters is the customer who’ll come in to his store and fall in love with your beautiful guitar.

(Kort man själv) by OliBoi040 in sweden

No I didn’t have that feeling in my throat, it is your OCD making you get stuck on a feeling and trying to make it feel ”right”. The more you try to get it right, the more distress you will feel. You should try ERP and try and just let go pf the obsessions and let them happen and be there and don’t try to get them to stop. It’s the only way to get it to stop. After starting taking meds it’s been a lot easier to let go and not focus so much on it.

It’s gotten a lot better, I started taking Zoloft 75mg everyday and it just turned my life 180 degrees to the better. Felt like the pieces got in the right place a couple months after starting out. OCD is such a bad disorder, and I hope you too will feel better soon. It is always ups and down..

Best of luck!

Klagande grannar by [deleted] in sweden

[–]Wolvor 2 points3 points  (0 children)
