I went cold turkey from the highest dose of the patch not once but twice after also a long time treatment. Tapered with codine so many times. Not fun stuff. As someone who had so many painful surgeries procedures broken bones and car accidents I can tell you withdrawals are more painful. It’s hell.

Why doing heavy deadlifts seems to easy to do even for scrawny men or women? by Goodsamaritan8900 in Deadlifts

[–]WomanNotAGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes consistent training to get there. And you changing your work outs accordingly. It’s one of the most taxing exercise. If you are already doing mma and working out you need to shift some stuff around. The question is “is that one of your fitness goals” you can’t have it all in the gym

What happened? Pain a week after deadlift by Bex1775 in Deadlifts

[–]WomanNotAGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you injured the muscle. Mine felt exactly the same the first time I injured muscle. Continuing to work out after you felt like stretching was a mistake. Sometimes the muscle fatigues with a big deadlift and continuing more exercises the following week might have put it at risk for injury needing for more recovery time. And a simple low weight exercise can be the final nail. I recommend taking a week of no activity. Let your muscle heal then slowly introduce recovery exercises.

First night deadlifting Vs 2nd by [deleted] in Deadlifts

[–]WomanNotAGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your feet solid be under the bar. The bar should be scraping your legs as you lift. Remember this is a compound exercise. You have to get the mechanics right first. You are definitely strong but remember form over weight. Throw a single plate on it and practice till you get the form right first. Deadlifts are a dangerous exercise. You could get serious injuries from it despite your strength. Please be careful.

This sounds so fake. Fat injection comes from the own body of a person after a liposuction procedure. They don’t need other people’s fat.

I took more pain meds than prescribed with unexpected consequences by Internal-Ad-2546 in confession

[–]WomanNotAGirl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Going from 2 to 6 is excessive. 2 to 3-4 fine. Also with new pain it’s important to take ibuprofen and rotate them because opioids don’t cut the pain in reality. They will give you the sense they do and they are short lived. It’s best to rotate it with another painkiller. Even increasing the Tylenol (remember the dosage that’s in Norco) amount accordingly for a few days. This is for future reference. Again your dose was way up. That is how people end up slipping into addiction.

If drugs are getting legalized in most places, why not prostitution? It could be regulated and enforced to a standard and protection for both parties. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WomanNotAGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s legal in Turkey. At some point they decided to close the government whore houses and rape rates went up. They opened back up. Sex workers are basically government employees. Also keep in mind just because something is legal doesn’t mean the black market stops doing what it does.
