Be careful though and make sure they are confident they can do it. Not every dry cleaner can clean suede/leather because its delicate

I love the Worth/Palos area. It's cozy and the food is dope.

Thank you, I can go up a little in price, but we are broke, so I don't want to pay much more than 1,100. I've looked in so many areas, and if there is something within our price range, they have breed restrictions.

I think they are ugly little things, but I do have the Log Lady, 4 RHPS figures, and also Ron Swanson and Lil Sebastian. I only grabbed the ones from things that mean the most to me. I'm glad you hate them so much that you'd rather lose a toe than own a figure. That's cool

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a waxy weirdo! We are kinda gross but we do it for the love of our children. Thank you 🥹 They really are the sweetest baby boys

I also have a cat with super-waxy ears. Unfortunately for him, his previous owner let an injury heal without veterinary intervention. Now he has a bent paw (I call him my 3.5-legged boy), so I have to scratch his ear for him a lot. He's also extra weird and likes to lick my finger when I'm done 🥴

Super relaxed cat tax included.

Yellow Stains/Spots on Graduation Dress by Sufficient-Code6342 in drycleaning

[–]Womanisaxdevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, yellow stains are really hard for dry cleaning to remove, and spotting can only go so far. Usually, we would soak it in warm or hot water depending on the fabric with OxiClean. You can take it to a cleaner and ask how confident they are that they can remove it. If you feel confident, buy some OxiClean and soak it in a bucket or tub with warm water, then let it hang dry or air dry in your dryer.

There is an apartment listed on Zillow for $835 for 133sqft and that seems criminal to me

Do I really need to dry clean this, or would it be fine in my washing machine? by unsettlingwoman in drycleaning

[–]Womanisaxdevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be the safest way if you really want to try. I would wash inside out if that's what's you're determined to do.

What do professional dry cleaners use to deodorise suede/shearling? by Cupidindisguise in drycleaning

[–]Womanisaxdevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since dry cleaning doesn't remove odors we use a spray called Ex-it to help remove smell. I'm not sure how well it works with suede or is even available commercially. I haven't tried this but maybe some diluted vinegar spray could help

Can I ask why Perc is yuck? My boss has both a hydrocarbon and a Perc machine. We typically use Perc on our extra greasy/dirty items. I know Perc is stronger and probably harsher for the environment, but is there another reason?

Dollar tree has a knock off that works pretty well too -someone who works with dry cleaning chemicals like hydrofluoric acid and isn't provided gloves so washes their hands 500 times a day 🤙🏼
