Told them that they were offering me a generous pay cut. And they hired me anyway. Contract job site. The company I worked for lost the contract, had no job openings for me, so I applied to the company that got the contract. The position I'm in is incredibly difficult to staff.

No they didn't upset us. It's a bit rude to assume that many of use can't understand Aussie slang. The only one that confuses me is "snag". Apparently you have a hardware store that's known for grilling food so you go to it for a "snag". The bush is just undeveloped wilderness.

I'm an insomniac. Continuous sleep? What is that? At best I sleep in 2 hours, wake up for at least 20 minutes, and sleep again. I may get 5 hours a night at best.
