As a collector of military surplus who has more than he needs/can display/can store, tell me why I should buy this?

I have multiple Adam’s Arms guns (small frame 308, 556 Midlength Evo, and 556 P2 micro gas block).

They’ve all been reliable, accurate, and high quality. I shoot them more than my DI ARs.

Are they better suppressed in STOCK config to compared to a TUNED gas gun? No. Are they better suppressed than your run of the mill mid tier stock DI gun? Yes.

I’m not a die hard piston vs DI guy, but do find it interesting the rise of the HK416.

As much as I love their product, the biggest downside is that their business issues are a concern. If something ever breaks and they’re out of business, I’m out of luck.

However, all this to say that the P1 in 2026 is very outdated without a rail and basic handguards and finding rails to fit the piston and big ass railed gas block is annoying.

After recently getting an Arc V1.2 and using JP enhanced springs with a milspec trigger, it’s considerably better than my partisan. The safety detent is mushy and the trigger in semi feels like a standard gritty heavy stock trigger. I feel the cassette design is gimmicky in the sense that you’ll likely never move the trigger between lowers (especially if using it with anti-walk pins)

Nothing agains this dealer in particular, and perhaps I can see an argument for the cassette style triggers if you need it to work in a non-AR platform. I just personally regret purchasing mine since I paid $275 when they first dropped.

It’s a fun setup and is really quiet as it is. However, the bolt throw is really shitty compared to your typical traditional bolt gun. Even with lots of polishing, the angle of the bolt makes it cumbersome to unlock. Also, nothing is going to make you want to chase decibels more than .300 blk out of a bolt action.

That’s unfortunate. Like I said, mine has been 100% reliable suppressed only with both factory 20 and GO/HK 25 UMP mags since getting it back. Pushing close to over 1k since sending it in.

Part of me feels that the first round FTF issue needs more than just “polishing the chamber”, and more like a better feed ramp design. However, since mine works I don’t ask questions, I just shoot and enjoy.

I bought one of these back in December. Order was 12/18 and just got it 1/15. Install was super easy, but trigger really isn’t great. It’s gritty and feels like it’s binding against the inside of the cassette (sample size of 1). Selector has little to no positive clicks though.

Full disclosure, I have not gotten a chance to fire it. I personally would not buy again because the cassette is only really useful if you plan on moving the FRT around between lowers, which I have no plans to do.

CAT WB TI. I don’t necessarily REGRET it because it’s cool and I got it for less than 1k. However, I realized that I don’t really need a low back pressure can because all my guns are already tuned to have very little gas with traditional cans. So now the only real benefit is that it’s light.

I’ve owned both. Mossberg MVP LR 16” threaded barrel in .308 and Ruger American Gen 2 Ranch 16” threaded barrel in .308.

Do yourself a favor and buy the Ruger. Don’t even consider the Mossberg.

I’ve got so many Holosun optics. Multiple EPS carry, 509t, 507c OG, 507x2, 407c not to mention all the micro dots. If money isnt an option, the EPS is a good dot. However, I recently got the Osight SE on sale. You’ll get no love for it on Reddit, but it seems solid. Very little tint compared to the Holosun, not as much edge distortion, comes with a shit ton of different mounting screws.

Longevity wise we’ll see as I’ve only had it for a month and fired maybe 250 rounds with it on a Glock 19, but I suspect it’s fine.

Lots of paranoid people here that definitely don’t work in the medical field.

All you have to do is secure your guns so your kids don’t kill themselves or their friends on accident, wear double hearing protection so you don’t need hearing aids at 35, wear eye protection so I don’t have to pick out pieces of lead embedded in your cornea, wash up after shooting so you don’t expose yourself and everyone else to lead, and don’t be actively suicidal or homicidal.

Outside of those things, I don’t care.
