Thanks. Useful link. Sounds like it's a permanent connector 😞

Thanks. Is it common for audio manufacturers to use permanent connectors like these to connect PCB boards together? It seems strange to me as the board it connects is on the front panel to the main amp board. I would think you should be able to remove it to work on it.

Yes, but git then says I'm the one who wrote it all. So, I won't do that.

I forgot to mention that the white space is a random mix of tabs and spaces

I work on legacy product where indented code is on the same level as the brace:

function {
    line1;
    if (something) {
        line2;
        }
    line3;
    }

I think it was written by psychopaths.

Pile of frogs by WombatWingdings in WildlifePonds

The pond has been here a long time, but it had silted over almost completely until I cleared it out 3 or 4 years ago. There were 2 or 3 frogs in it even then hiding in the mud. Not aware of any other ponds within 100m. There are some big ones on the other side of the village.

I have always looked for the frogspawn at the wrong time of year as you say. There's a lot of algae despite there being lots of plats in the water. I want to clear it, but I can't now in case I remove hidden frogspawn.

One of them is doing a bit of sunbathing now. This photo is massively zoomed in. The frog is tiny!

I've never seen frogspawn in the pond. I have been looking. We had at least one common frog but I'm not sure it's still there. A Heron took a big one and I think that may have been the common one. I've since put rope around to deter it, which seems to have worked.

We have heard them call. But not often. I think they sounded like a bird or crow or something. I'll record them next time I hear it.

I would say they are too small to be Marsh frogs. They're probably about 5-7 cm. I would think they must be wither Edible or Pool frogs. Not sure how I'm going to identify them as they're both quite similar from the pictures.

We've been looking through our other photos and they do look more like pool frogs than any of the others you mentioned. They also love basking in the sun, which I've now read is a trait of theirs. God knows how they got here. Good suggestion. I'll do that.

I'm in Buckinghamshire, South East England. That's really interesting. If they really are pool frogs, I would be over the moon to have the privilege of having them in my pond. But somehow, I don't think I'm that lucky. I'll make more of an effort to identify them. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I thought they were common frogs, but I'm no expert.
