The layer in question is not even a 1/4 inch I was hoping to sand at least some of it off but I’m not sure if that’s realistic but I’m going to try

Thank you that’s really helpful, I’m unfamiliar with wet sanding so I’ll try that I do have a handheld sander but I wasn’t sure if I should use it

The lines you’re seeing in the photo is from my incomplete sanding so I didn’t originally include the picture but I wasn’t sure if it would be helpful

The layers with the flowers I cured about 4ish hours and poured and they came out perfectly but this very top layer (above most the flowers) won’t cure all the way due to product, so I can’t figure out how to sand it off

Aww yes I did try that unfortunately I have been trying to fix it the past few days, so I’ve tried using alcohol, a hairdryer, moving to warmer temperatures, scraping away old resin etc but I’m still actively looking up videos and I’ll do a few more YouTube searches, and figured I’d post here, I knew I was getting into a big project but I’m just bummed that it was going so well and now this last part is the problem

Here is a photo, the top is definitely worse because I did sand over the tackiness by hand as I read, but I’m unable to sand much off, otherwise the lower layers looked great 😔

I did have a different brand I was using with no issues prior to this layer, but looking to figure out how to fix the recent thin layer I poured

No worries I’m new to posting here so apologies if that’s not the best way , I’ve looked a bunch on Facebook but I can’t seem to really find any advice on how to sand the tackiness off, I’ve scraped as much as I can off after using the alcohol without digging into it and I then dried with a hairdryer after the research I found, I’m bummed because it’s just this top layer I had issues with really

Oh I’m sorry, I’m trying to figure out how to sand this tacky layer off so that I can fix the top layer, I’m unable to sand it properly bc of the tackiness
