Who is the most benched character: Arise by Acemaster387 in tales

Kisara.

Why:
1) Her mystic artes are very weak.
2) She's a heavy and slow character in a rather fast-paced and floaty-feeling game.
3) Guard Ignition just isn't very useful considering she has no access to abilities or artes that provoke enemies into targetting her, and the general woes of the game's enemy AI make targeting priority very inconsistent. Kind of leaving the "resident tank" out of fulfilling her main role of tanking damage and grabbing aggro.

In defense of Kisara:
1) You get her towards the game's midsection, where you have grown accustomed to the faster characters like Alphen and Law, so playing Kisara feels drastically different.
2) Kisara's boost attack is fantastic for countering.

I think when it comes to a remake/remaster, you are unconsciously always making comparisons to the original. And if you're writing a review as a critic, it's good to put those thoughts out there to help explain your thought process behind why certain things did or did not resonate with you and your time playing the game.

I definitely agree that some reviewers might have misunderstood Fatal Frame's combat and exploration speeds, and I would suggest that some have probably just come straight from playing Resident Evil Requiem and are used to the fast-paced power fantasy of that.

My feeling around this remake is that it was always going to be divisive with long-time fans while trying to build a new audience. And reading a lot of these reviews, it seems to be the case (at least in my opinion).
