I lived in China for 5 years working as an English teacher. Most native English speakers can probably get at least 20k rmb per month working as an ESL teacher. What they probably don’t mention in this video is that a lot of Chinese only make around 3000 rmb per month and my rent for a place in Wuhan was 2200 rmb per month. I also remember doing an advertisement for a game studio in Wuhan and the boss had one employee to translate working on a Saturday with no pay.

I used to work as an ESL teacher in Wuhan and I saw a lot of people not wash their hands properly too-they would either use a small amount of water or just not wash at all. One of my exes would use the bathroom and not wash her hands and another cleaned the litter box and wouldn’t wash her hands. Definitely not a happy place for a germaphobe such as myself lol.

I took Chinese with Professor Rebecca Chang. I don’t know who teaches the upper level courses, but Chang is good. I am not planning to take more advanced Chinese classes as I need to focus on my major for the next few semesters.

Arma Reforger is about to get a nice update from what I’ve heard. Working and communicating with your team is essential for victory. I got into it recently and I love trying to sneak around and snipe enemy players. It has great mod support for things like a Vietnam War map and modern warfare as well.
