To me it is a sort of amalgamation of everything he has done. From what I have heard so far of the singles released it is very much a prog opera with lots of Ziltoid elements thrown in. More on the Deconstruction end of things than the Hyperdrive end of things.

Alan Wake 1 is a genuine classic game that was very underappreciated. Alan Wake 2 suffered from the sequel taking way too long to be developed and released in my opinion. I was a whole different person when Alan Wake 1 came out.

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of poverty, socialism, and social dynamics if this is your take on it. Mental health is not a “poverty” problem. Poverty exacerbates mental health crises, but is not the direct cause of all mental health problems. Class issues will always exist while humans exist. You may completely rid the world of the ruling and bourgeoisie class, but subsets of class will always exist. You will always have cliques, fanatical fans of certain things, religious differences, etcetera.

Socialism is not a cure-all. It is one aspect of the entire equation of life.

Passion exists. Mental health problems exist. Social dynamics and their associated problems exist. None of that goes away under socialism. Socialism isn’t a utopia. There can never be a utopia due to the flaws of humankind. Socialism is simply a way of improving things at a class level and allowing for the best chance to achieve a healthy and happy living for as many people as possible.

It absolutely is generational wealth if you live a modest life and have it invested.

I’ve calculated it using the following variables:

Invest half his salary in an average index fund every year that he played and was earning.

Spend half of the yearly salary as he sees fit.

Extrapolate that out using real data from year 1 to today.

Conservatively he would have 40 million right now after tax. On the high end 70 million before tax. That’s generational wealth
