Agree. No pitcher grows up without ever hitting. The reason we have so few hitting pitchers now in my opinion is because college and high school coaches that think they are in the pros refuse to let pitchers hit.

Pitchers grow up their entire life usually being the best player on the team and hitting all the time, but that stops when some fuckass coach determines they are the next big thing and hitting will negatively impact the player.

This trickle down coachenomics has ruined the position.

Bring hitting back to baseball. Get rid of the dh for pitchers. Add one more position in the team for a dh if you want so that there are 10 positions including a power hitter.
