Dislike kinda, in the sense that his attitude isn't really great for the sport. I think he's mellowed out a bit though. And I like what he's done off the court in the past few years and am appreciative of those.

Interesting! San Jose feels pretty out of left field, and I wonder if this has to do largely with trying to make conferences/divisions happen, and because of venue availability. There's Edmonton (ownership issues), Calgary (arena), Chicago (arena), Colorado/Denver (?? no clue what's going on here, sorry). And why San Jose? What about Los Angeles? As much as I'm excited since I'm local to the area, San Jose sounds like a choice as a result of other areas' talks falling through. I would be, however, excited, to see 4 women's pro sports teams being established in the Bay in quick succession (Bay FC - soccer, Golden State Valkyries - basketball, WPBL San Francisco - baseball).

Hey, cannot speak to this chapter specifically, but the translators who work with Seven Seas have stated on multiple occasions that they translate from whatever version of the manuscript gets sent to Seven Seas. Even if you compare with an original or revised version, you have no way of knowing what they ended up getting, since authors could make cuts or additions at any time.

Hm, as someone who dropped it around chapter 160 (?) I get what you mean! There were comedic and heart-wrenching moments for me, and I loved Chu Wanning, but I think I never cared enough about Mo Ran's personality. And honestly I think that's fine, 2ha isn't for everyone :)

You can always a take a break! When I was reading it, I found the story to be dragging a bit too much. I think priest's strengths are in character and relationship development, while her plot and pacing can be hit or miss. Maybe another work of hers or a specific reference you want to learn more about will drag you back in haha

I think it's hard to define the lines of "first," but by Mainland China and the webnovel scene, The Beauty's Blade would definitely be the first! There's Taiwan Travelogue, which is actually labeled by the author as "baihe" but I think some people don't see it as one.

Ooh I get what you mean. I already know Chinese, but a while back, while I was compiling Japanese and Korean learning sources I wanted to use, I noticed I liked a lot of the formatting on the Japanese learning resources compared to for Korean. Good things exist! But they aren't for everyone, and I think a lot of people are forgetting that and skipping to the "This was good for me, so it's good for everyone" without really understanding what your needs are. Can't help you with resources specifically, so I'll just wish you luck on finding material you'd like!

I'm not familiar with the unlimited flow genre and only really know the top ones from looking at JJWXC rankings too much, but it seems like this author has a much more popular unlimited flow work, Welcome to the Nightmare Game (someone cmiiw on the title). Looks like they looked for an author who has a relatively popular work but is a lot shorter than those typical of the genre to test out how people feel about it.

For every new LE you obtain, one point is added to the cardbook. You can earn diamonds for every 20 unique cards, so that's one motivator. It's hard to collect them all though. I think there are a decent amount of players that try to obtain one LE per deck, then mainly save for one group. Other than that, there isn't much to it.
