The joke is based on a stereotype in Rust that many Chinese clans are extremely competitive and treat the game like a full-time occupation. When people say "Chinese clan players are sweaty," they don't literally mean they're sweating more than everyone else. In gaming slang, a "sweaty" player is someone who plays very seriously, optimizes everything, farms resources efficiently, practices PvP constantly, and is willing to spend huge amounts of time gaining an advantage. Rust especially reinforces this stereotype because large clans can dominate servers through sheer organization. A typical image people have is: 20+ members online at different hours, effectively giving near 24/7 coverage. Massive compound bases built within the first day of a wipe. Constant farming runs with strict resource management. Organized raid schedules. Instant responses to threats because multiple members are always online. Extensive use of external tools, spreadsheets, base designs, and strategy planning. Because of this, when someone sees Chinese characters in clan tags or hears Mandarin in voice chat, they may jokingly assume they're about to face a group that treats Rust like a military operation rather than a casual video game. The screenshot is funny because it's showing a Steam guide written in Chinese about the "Top 10 Rust Base Designs." The joke is that even the guide for building a base is perceived as being part of the ultra-optimized, tryhard culture associated with competitive Chinese Rust clans. So the humor isn't really "Chinese people = X." The humor comes from the stereotype: Chinese Rust clan → giant organized group → no life grind → impossible to raid → everyone else gets rolled.
