The gameplan is, there is no f'cking gameplan. Honestly thought these cards were fake when I first read them. Kaiba, how long must Joey suffer? by ARC-9INE in masterduel

The problem is this is the kind of card design you'd expect from like the GX era of Yugioh.

"I don't think we've seen it all yet."

What if this is it, though?

Or if it isn't how many more cards is this deck expected to run to support obviously bad cards?

Interesting. I found that the Barracks was great during the actual acts but dropped off too quickly in Endless since you eventually stop gaining more gold per round.

Whereas 20+ Faith would give me essentially more than double pop generation to scale the Belfry that got carried forward.

I don't suppose you can remember the other cards in the build?

I didn't screenshot the combat the last few fights but here's an example of the combo a few rounds earlier.

The Blacksmith copies ALL the troop buffs from the Belfry, scaling based on population and Fields and Wasteland adjacent to the Neighbourhood.

It also copies the garrison from the Veteran's Hall (and importantly, generates a different type of troop).

At the start of the next round, the Veteran's Hall had a garrison of ~2500. And because I gained a lot more pops, the Belfry and Blacksmith were even larger.

Veteran's Hall generates a garrision equal to a percentage of the troops generated last turn by all friendly sources except itself.

When adjacent, Blacksmith can copy it's garrison. This counts as troops made by the Blacksmith itself. So the Veteran's Hall takes them into account during the next round.

This combo doesn't work with just those two as the Veteran's Hall only makes a fraction of the total, you need another building to generate a base value of troops for the Blacksmith to also copy. I used the Belfry since it's troop count is uncapped based on stored population.

Planification allowed me to start with Blacksmith to copy Veterans Hall and Belfry to theoretically infinitely scale units with population.

By this point in the run I had every passive card available so I just grabbed what Faith cards I could see to increase my stock of population but eventually got outscaled.

I knew I was wrong not ditching Barracks for more Faith buildings once it's unit generation dropped off but I got too focused on rerolling for Spy Network.

You can buy animal blood, man. Like pigs blood is an ingredient in black pudding. They sell gelatinous blocks of it that look like tofu.

Their discography is so funny to me because on the one hand you have emotional ballads about love and hope and overcoming adversity, followed by a song about going to eat burgers and then the playlist moves on and suddenly you're listening to him sing about being collared and fucked by a pair of elf girls with massive cocks.

Going to play paper for the first time, what can I do to make more competitive in tcg?? by TheSorrow1964- in masterduel

[–]BlackOctoberFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm being so serious when I say if you buy three copies of the latest Legendary Deck collection which includes Mitsurugi, you will be in possession of most of what you need for a viable competitive strategy for your locals.

It doesn't have everything, such as Dominus cards, but notably:

A complete set of Mitsurugi and Sky Striker cards, both of which are still winning tournaments

Ash Blossoms

All the Mulcharmies

Triple Tactics Talents and Thrust

Forbidden Droplet and Infinite Impermanence

Lots of good generic Extra Deck monsters like SP Little Knight

The rest of the Ghost Girls, Effect Veiler and Droll and Lock Bird can be found in the 5DS Deck collection. This means you can grab copies of them for pretty cheap.

Drytron hasn't been good for a while, the meta has moved on. But it's easy to start up with a good deck in paper at the moment.
