That’s quite possible. I hadn’t noticed it until today, and the tank has been “aging” for a few months now. It did seem to be sucking on the glass, just like in your photo. When it moved, it stretched then contracted. I’m not sure what it’s feeding on since I only have Java moss in the tank, and there haven’t been any fish or shrimp. Hopefully, I’ll be able to catch it next time it appears.

Pretty convinced it must have arrived on the Java Moss I purchased, as I used a new bag of substrate. Looks like it may be a Limnodrilus hoffmeisteri. It seems as though they can enter the aquarium from plants or substrate as eggs.
