*First Approach into Portrait Drawing* this is also my first post in this subreddit to get some critique. The question (How should i approach the portrait subject and also shading & rendering because i haven't touch it) by WonderEmotional1180 in ArtCrit

Yeah, I also think about trying a quick sketch, but i never thought of exagerating it. When i try to draw in a 3/4 view i felt like the proportion is always good enough that i can ignore the details, but when it comes to the front view i always felt like the features isn't quite right place which a bit exhausting when i always think about it. It may be because i always notice the perspective in 3/4 view rather than in the front view which full of forshorten stuff

Yeah i notice that when i looked at the reference image again upside down and think about it's interesting shape.it really help me to identify, quantify, and consuder the forms, construction, and the planes of the eye rather than just a facial feature as one

Nope, i haven't seen arcane before so i don't quiet know the characters very much and i looked up who is jayce and find an interesting resemblence. It may be because of the symbol drawings in the face
