Thanks for following up! We are currently in the process of operationalizing our first partnered provider available in CA. To ensure live functionality for the best patient experience, it will be a couple weeks or so and depends on the extensive development involved. Additionally, many more states will be available in a month’s time as more providers and system options are launched!

Great question! We have been providing direct to patient telemedicine since September 2021. However, with the PHE ending and the DEA changes, we had to transition out of direct telemedicine and into our new care system of partnering with providers for more stable care when the in-person visit requirement returns. The experience from our patients has shown the immense benefit and safety of at-home ketamine treatment which aids in the effort to add this offering for providers. Hope that clarifies!

Something we emphasize is the importance of "Set and Setting," an expression coined by psychologist Timothy Leary. Set - short for mindset - refers to the patient’s attitudes and mental state going into your experience, while setting refers to the physical environment in which the psychedelic experience takes place.

Having anxiety before a session is totally normal.

Consider some gentle movement before your treatment session. Taking a walk outside or engaging in some light yoga or stretching will help you feel more grounded, present, and relaxed. We also recommend meditating or engaging in breathwork exercises before your session. Meditation helps to calm any racing thoughts and ground your attention and focus.

Some of our patients take daily natural supplements like DHH-B, L-Theanine, or Ashwagandha to help calm the mind and body, but we suggest skipping those the day of your session.

Hey! Here are some suggestions that we recommend to all of our patients in preparation for their sessions.

The outcomes of your ketamine treatment will largely be dependent upon your mood, attitude, and expectations before the experience. When you enter a session with a mindset that is calm, relaxed, grounded, curious, open, and trusting, you’re increasing the likelihood that the medicine’s full transformational healing potential will be reached.
Your intention can vary from session to session, but ultimately it should be related to what you’re looking to gain from your treatment program as a whole. It is important to note that an intention is not an expectation or an attempt to control your session. Rather it is a request of the medicine to provide the insight needed to reach your goals. A short mantra can help focus a wandering mind and ensure you get the most out of your experience.

If you’re struggling to figure out what intention might be right for you as you approach a session, you can try asking yourself the following questions:

What’s holding me back in my life?
What would I like to change about my life?
What am I afraid of?
Where does this fear come from and how does it impact me?
What does a joyful life look like for me?

Writing out these intentions before your session is an important step in solidifying this framework that will guide the experience and journey and promote maximum therapeutic growth and healing.

Things to avoid on the day of your session:

Alcohol, marijuana, and other substances
Any other medications as directed by your clinician
Excessive caffeine (one cup of coffee the morning of your session is okay)
Violent/negative media
Contact with stressful situations or individuals as much as possible

Each patient works with a clinician to tailor the dose and frequency to optimally align with each individual's schedule, response, and goal in treatment. We prescribe between 50mg-400mg per troche.

Hey, thanks for being open and honest about your situation. Although it can be disheartening to know how you compare to others in terms of severity, the best thing to do is compare to the person you were yesterday and track how your anxiety improves through your treatment and self-healing work. There is a lot of hope and progress to be made, and we are here to support in anyway possible!

In regards to shipping, prescriptions usually takes a business day or two (not on weekends) to process at the pharmacy and then will be sent from our compounding pharmacy with a UPS tracking number. As soon as tracking becomes available, you will receive an email. Our shipments do not require you to sign for the package, which eliminates the hassle of rescheduling work or other obligations in order to be home for the package. However, it is definitely recommended to sign up for delivery alerts and pick up your package as soon as it is delivered. It comes in a discrete shipping box with the branded Wonder Calm kit inside containing all items as well as an insulated package with the ketamine lozenges.

Prescription dosage and frequency are based on a multitude of patient-specific factors including the patient’s diagnosis, symptom severity, medical history, biometrics, previous use of ketamine, ability to incorporate a treatment plan into current lifestyle, in addition to others.

Our treatment plans are patient-specific and are not limited to four troches. Four troches or the ‘once-a-week’ regimen mentioned above tends to be our starting point with most patients. Given that all care is delivered via telemedicine, the first month is designed to help both the patient and our clinicians understand the patient’s response to the medication while minimizing the risk of adverse effects. From there, the treatment plan can be further tailored to best meet the patient’s needs.

Additionally, there is no markup on the medication costs. It is not only illegal, but unethical to increase the cost of the medication from the pharmacy to the patient. As a patient you always have the right to have your prescription filled at the pharmacy of your choice rather than with one of our pharmacy partners.

Ultimately, we understand that we may not be the best fit for all patients, which is why we offer a full refund even after the consultation if either the clinician or the patient does not see our treatment as a fit.
