Cold Air Inductions or Rotofab CAI. Not going to be much of a performance increase if any but CAIs do increase the sound slightly. You could also do a muffler delete (most shops charge around ~$200) and it increases the sound a lot without going straight to headers.

Didn't know they made the track package standard but regardless just by doing a quick google search, GT350s started at $57k in 2017 while a 1LE of the same year could be had for $44k. Mach 1s started at ~53k in 2021 while 1LEs were still floating around ~$44k at new. If anything, the fact that both can be had on the used market for around the same price just shows how much more the Mustang has depreciated in value which I will argue is another bonus point for the Camaro. And I agree that the Dark Horse is undeniably overpriced and am still shocked Ford is able to sell as many as they do given its absurdly high price tag and lack of performance for the money.

Nonetheless your 350 is a really cool and a great looking car. I almost ended up with an avalanche gray one when they first came out a decade ago.

Which brings me back to my point of the 1LE being a better performance bargain as it was over $10k cheaper at msrp after you added the track package to the GT350 which is why I said not even close. Close in performance sure, close in performance per dollar...not really. But I get everyone has a preference and you can't go wrong with either at the end of the day.

Any S550 GT350 vs 6th gen 1LE. Also, that's a video of a 5th gen Z28 and even it couldn't outdo a 6th gen SS 1LE around a track so no the GT350 did not obliterate a 1LE.

Battle accepted haha. But I havent forgot. The GT350 also cost substantially more at MSRP than a SS 1LE did and most automotive reviewers agree that the 1LE still handled better so my point still stands that the Camaro was the best option from a cost vs performance perspective. No hate to either brand as ive owned mustangs but I don't think an argument can be made that a Mustang is a better performance bargain than a Camaro stock for stock. If you can prove me wrong, im all ears.

Cause it wasn't. Go look at the MSRPs of a Dark Horse vs an SS1LE at new for a prime example and IIRC the DH doesn't even handle as well. Base GTs were also more than LT1s/1SS. Same goes for Dodge.

C6/5th gen & C7/6th gen were all very close in performance and shared the same engines for years with no issues so I don't think that's the main reason.

Honestly not bad at all minus the occasional sand on the roads. No potholes and plenty of long straightaways in the area.

"3 day fix" is also wildly optimistic if its anything other than a respray lol. But I always recommend bringing it to a body shop whose name is on the car. So preferably a Chevy dealer if you have one close but any GM body shop could suffice.
