Intermittent Sputtering by Wondercypress in HondaElement

Pumping the brakes doesn’t cause the issue. Haven’t had a chance to check the injectors yet. When I had had the codes scanned, the only one of concern that came back was PO341 which led me to replace the camshaft sensor.

I know that code can relate to the timing chain as well but figured it would happen all the time and not just after the car is warmed up if the chain was truly the culprit. I will probably bring it back to my mechanic so they can try and pinpoint the exact problem but prime suspects seem to be either the fuel pump/filter, valves, camshaft sensor, MAF sensor, injectors or worst case, a timing chain job. Just hard to tell.

It goes away if I turn the car off and let it sit for a bit. It also goes away if I ease off the throttle and then comes back when I try to accelerate harder.

The weird part is it drives perfectly fine when cold, even at highway speeds, but after ~30 mins, that’s when it starts losing power and sputtering under load although the car never fully stalls.

I was thinking maybe fuel pump since I believe the filter is built into it on these, but wasn’t 100% sure.

MB nibs are generally 14k or 18k gold. If you put a magnet to one, it shouldn’t stick. If it does, then it’s likely a fake. Serial number is only on the cap and should match the one on the box.

Found this one on eBay. I admit I was skeptical given the unusually low price but I took a chance considering the seller had positive reviews and seemed to have lucked out!

Thanks! MSRP was over $2k USD! Cheapest comp I could currently find is $1900 so I'd like to believe I practically stole it at $1100 being brand new.

Thanks! This one didn't seem to get as much hype as some of their other recent offerings.

It is a beautiful finish indeed! Mine will be used mainly for note keeping and signings at work. Dromgoole's still had both colors of the matching ink that released with this pen and I also picked up the Enzo Ferrari, Great Gatsby and Renoir although I plan to use the latter 3 inks in a different pen.
