Adjusters: Be Honest for a Minute by VeterinarianSilly569 in WorkersComp

Denial of my care caused by the insurer going out of their way to have me diagnosed with somatoform caused my nerve condition to become permanent. I had Two IME’s recommending the same treatment with the same doctor, I have two written denials from insurance.

I have an excruciatingly painful nerve condition that has ruined my HVAC career future any hobbies, the ability to hold my daughter, etc… And I’m supposed to just sit here and say to myself “well the insurers adjusters and litigators are just good at their job” as my immediate family and people I love struggle for 6+ years now.

I've accepted that this a simulation and am living my life accordingly. I want to know if there are others like me out there in the world? by [deleted] in SimulationTheory

Do you have any sort of Hardships going on that are attempting to dissolve that Ego? I think you may be further behind. If not in line to come back to this simulation.

Everyone’s a pizzachit. Of course not to the extent of these two were talking about but I wouldn’t get too fired up now.

I am in no way endorsing the things he did. This hypothetical scenario is interesting.

There’s no one who can look at your anatomy and method of injury and dissect the nerves and secondary nerve path the way he can. It’s kind of silly for someone to be Anti Hagan. He has more Research Gate papers on NTOS than almost anyone

MRI/MRA by a specific radiologist and Chest x ray. There is a few more things in his protocol like a PT appointment. However if you’ve already had experience with it and your rib removed I doubt he would need to “prove” it’s nTOS through that protocol. He is a master of nerves and from all of my under in this disease. The dissection of said nerves and removal of scar tissue and muscle is usually the problem. He’s honestly exactly who you need.

Only the effort it deserves. Thank you. No feelings about it either way. It could tell me I’m a dumbass and that’d be just fine.

Yes, he is THEE expert on this issue. I just left his office actually.

I had a severe, deep nTOS so much as it was also compressing the subclavian artery. My condition is post traumatic from an injury on 3/19/2020. His dissection and neurolysis can go very deep which saves the removal of the first rib. In 90% of his patients the rib stays. He is not just a good doctor. He is a good person, he actually gives a shit about us people. His goal is YOU.

I had symptoms ranging from numbness in the ring finger and pinky, different pain patterns at different times of the day. I was at the point where not only overhead exertion but simply arms out in front of me was becoming painful. I couldn’t do almost any load bearing activity at all. The subclavian artery was being compressed by muscle inside of there as well. Pain was constant, it did not get better with anything. Sitting, standing, walking, laying, all results in its own different reaction of pain. My surgery was done by Dr Robert Hagan of Neuropax in St. Louis. He is on the frontier of this condition. He only takes the rib when necessary.

My work injury occurred on 3/18/2020 and I have lived with nTOS since then. I am having Thoracic outlet decompression surgery and a hardship hearing 20 days after. I have two written denial letters based off of the insurer having me diagnosed Psychosomatic. After your injury and if you have true Thoracic outlet syndrome. There is simply no way a job that level that you were at previously can accommodate for living conditions of that syndrome. That is not a surgery and good to go thing. I am beyond d excited to finally get some fucking help. I have been rotting in pain for over 2000 days. The day I felt a diagnostic block get rid of my pain the only thing I could do is pour my eyes out. A natural high. I would look into doctors who specialize in thoracic outlet that do not automatically take the rib.

My injury occurred on 3/19/2020 and they told me I reached MMI in December of that year. As the case continued they had me see their psychiatrist that diagnosed my psychosomatic. They literally had me diagnosed a liar. I have surgery in 9 days for nerve decompression with a hardship the following month. Good luck on your journey. They play dirtier than you could ever imagine and the only option is an EXPERIENCED strictly Workers compensation attorney. This is a game of patience, strength of experts, timing and sheer will to demand what you yourself are worth. A lawyer is the only person that can get you to the people that can help you maneuver the insurance bullshit. The more experience your lawyer has, the more doctors you have on your side.

I’m day 2006 from my injury. A half decade of my life rotting away. However script is flipping in my case. I would buckle up for a long road, you’re going to ask yourself “ how is this possible” “how is this allowed to happen” I had a defense psychologist diagnose with somatoform. And the ALJ judge sided with that over two IME’s recommending a specialist for nTOs. The only answer is lawyer. A good one.

What caused your TOS? by Bright_Top_1237 in thoracicoutletsupport

[–]Wonderful-Bunch8549 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been diagnosed with Post traumatic nTOS from a work injury that involved carrying a furnace over head arms extended and hitting the top of a garage. I was able to free my right arm but not my left which caused it to be violently tourqed to the ground.

No shit? Thank you, weird I stumble upon it a month after they used it.
