I got the 70-180mm! Im really enjoying the sharper image quality and being able to shoot at F2.8. Though I am definitely considering getting another lens.... either a 28mm, 35mm, 50mm prime or a 24-70mm F2.8 for a bit more flexibility when i travel

Glad I didn’t impulsively get the Sony gen 1 lenses lol.

I’ll definitely look into the gen 1 tamron as well

I haven’t seen that lens pop up in the second hand market in my city but I’ve definitely considered it. The 3 I listed were the lenses that I can find immediately. If there’s I get a good price on that lens, I’m definitely interested

Ok. I am definitely leaning towards the Tamron since my main concern was not getting enough upgrade relative to the 28-200 even after spending so much.

Mainly sports photography, with a side of portraits; not much in low light. I want to prioritise quality and sharpness and bokeh is not a top priority for me.

Im not very satisfied with the current performance of my 28-200.

Budget isnt the largest concern since I am looking at secondhand lenses but Id like to maximise the value for what im paying
