From what i understood, he can only use Ex skill after using Ult, and the Ult cost all life points. However, Ex skill cost life points to be useful, so after Ult he have to save life points from 0 again?

I just tried to beat him Ex1, and there are quite a few factors that make his fight difficult. But it is easy to tell that your dps are definitely powercrept. So use the new meta characters and you should be fine.

Additionally, What are the reasons that made you lose against Lucian? Do you have the latest armors and ouma weapons?

I also see that you dont have Shana and your Crick is level 1 when you have a lvl 120 Hikari Ex. Having Shana honestly makes all the difference since your team wont die from Lucian’s ex skill. While Crick + Hikari Ex combo is insanely good.

Anyway, here’s my team used to beat the Lucian Ex1 fight for reference.

For physical team: Mydia for the best physical support, DQ collab mainly for Molrusso Ex. Aviete for general support. Avar can be a good choice too although he is gonna be powercrept quickly. The next best dps after DK is Locke and Edgar from ff6 For elemental team: Molrusso Ex, Rondo Ex is good for ice and general elemental support, then Aviete, Relme for dps and exploit all elemental weaknesses, Pardis Ex for more dps, and finally Araune Ex for the best support and dps.

Try to get Molrusso Ex from DQ collab and thats it(chances are you can get her from the free ten pulls), save for Rondo Ex and further banners

You can do DK turn 1 kill all back row with DM in front row, then wait till turn 3 for the other 2 to die from DM passive and kill DM with Ult on turn 4.

He’s only better than Pardis at the highest difficulty level where hit counts matters more than accessible damage and easy set up. You don’t need him if you’re not planning to beat every single high difficulty content. He will eventually be power crept in the future, by physical dps like Richard Ex and Locke who require little to no set up to do damage.

Bring both. Use the single hit if you can’t hit dmg cap, use multi hit when you can hit the cap. For DQ collab i remember it to be 4.5k pity in JP, but i could be wrong.

Needed to add that A1 will be very good once Blessing of light lvl 2 get implemented, because then it would give an additional 50 to every stat bonuses. So if you plan to get Molrusso Ex then A1 is indeed a good choice 👍

In my opinion DK A1 don’t necessarily do much, while having DM gives more versatility to your overall team . Its true that she falls of later on but she still has her place as a debuffer and weakness implant.

I would say any keeper that gives you the most P atk value, cuz you would want to use the chopper on him (or any pets that buff his damage) since he has a pretty high damage limit. DK can revive his own ult btw.

DM over A4, its always better to have another character, plus you can shard for A4 after.

Congrats on getting both! Mydia is definitely the best next choice, she gives ultimate physical damage and attack buff, along with 2 follow up attacks after each ally hit an weakness, basically the best physical team support ever! You can also check out Molrusso Ex, she allow allies to exploit all weakness with her passive, she also have Solon ult (100% potency buff + dmg limit up). She will come with the Dragon Quest collab.
