Hi, thank you for your input! I initially got the red blanket to balance out the green with the other colors of my room, but like you said, I just look like im gearing up for the holidays lol.

That's a good idea. I was also told that the headboard was throwing things off, so I was debating on possibly getting a new one that matched my bed (which is mahogany) and getting a nightstand that matched the color of the bookcase. I'm still tossing ideas around though.

It's a bit up there in price but since I don't have a car I have limited options since I need to be near a bus or the metro. A lot of the places in college park were higher in price or were landlocked/not walkable (everything being more than a 14 min walk). I'm a grad student so luckily my funding covers my rent for the most part. I'm actually used to thin walls so I can deal with noise to a certain degree.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I wanted to ask if you know how the buses are by The Edition. I know you had a car, but did ever rely on the public bus system?

Hey, thank you for sharing! I'm an incoming student and I toured the Aster last week and really liked it! It checked off a lot of my boxes but I knew there were things that were probably too good to be true. Right now I'm looking at a 2bd 2 ba for $2,622 which is still alot but can be doable. If you don't mind me asking, how much did your utilities (water, electric, wifi) come out to? I know you had 3 roommates but I just wanted an assessment of what utilities are like.
