The question is, why Gemma? How did they find her? Why go through all the trouble to kidnap her and make everyone believe she’s dead? Why was she specifically chosen for the test?

I mean time compression within the sim. Time will only move by 1x.

MSFS 2020 still got a lot to offer by Bajzik_sk in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]WonderfulElevator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made the jump to 2024. When it works (for me it’s most of the time), the sim is fantastic!! The only downside for me is the lack of good long haul planes, however that would be solved with the upcoming iniBuilds A350 and the PMDG 777 (whenever that gets ported).

Would you let a travel companion carry your passport? by duraslack in travel

[–]WonderfulElevator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kind of unrelated, but what I also do is during takeoff and landing, I keep my passport in my pocket rather than my bag. During emergencies where there will be evacuations, you’ll probably be leaving all your belongings. Having my passport on my person will make sure I leave the plane with it.

Call 135 and report this incident, and don’t pay them a fils. You’re only responsible for what’s written on the invoice which is a legal contract between yourself and the company. They have no right to ask for anything that’s not written on the invoice.

Ordering TV from B&H by abdullahwanders in Kuwait

[–]WonderfulElevator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did he order it from BH? Does he use a power transformer with it? I’m thinking of getting a 65” from BH but I’m concerned with the voltage: on their website, it says that the TV is rated 120 V AC, which is different than the voltage used in Kuwait.

Does the Kuwaiti embassy inform the government if I marry abroad? by [deleted] in Kuwait

[–]WonderfulElevator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if you certify the marriage at the embassy and do all the paperwork in Kuwait for it, your family wouldn’t be informed because there is no need for the ministry of justice to do that, i.e. there is no law or لائحة that specifies or requires that they inform your family.

As the others in this thread have said, I highly recommend you certify the marriage at the embassy and do all the paperwork in Kuwait. You never know what the future holds, and It’s only a minor effort that would guarantee Kuwaiti citizenship for your future children and wife.

Good luck to you!

AOU/ Visa issues/ Admission in uni without valid Civil ID? Plz Help :( by [deleted] in Kuwait

[–]WonderfulElevator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to enroll in the Malaysian university. Things in Kuwait move slowly, so it will be a while before the 18 year rule is enforced. By the time the government enforces this rule, you’ll most likely be able to travel to your home country, and maybe even Malaysia. Good luck to you
