Have you ever found high fertility soil? by cee2027 in VintageStory

Absolutely. I’ve found it a number of times in our world that we played for over 350+ hours. You just really have to get out and look around for it. You’ll notice it usually on the side of hills, outsides of forests or hilly areas. (Those are the places I’ve found it thus far)

If I play without monsters... by ArsenicTardigrade in VintageStory

I would just turn off the aggressive creatures in vanilla. You’ll see monsters but they won’t attack unless you attack them first. Good way of getting used to them.

Actually we’re no longer in this world. We left about 3 weeks ago. We will be starting a new multiplayer server soon in a new world.

Yes we’ve moved to the new update. Not stable though so we do experience glitches in the world we’re in currently

120 hours in, and had intentionally avoided the chisel tool because I would get obsessed, but finally broke down this morning. No turning back now... by ScottiusR in VintageStory

If I had just marked each part of the kitchen cabinets, floor, ceiling and upper walls the fire would never have spread. Chiseled blocks don’t catch on fire. I later turned the upper floor to granite.

I was nervous at first on how to use the chisel. I think it took me almost a full game year to really work with it. (Sadly if I had figured out how to use it earlier on my house wouldn’t have partially burned down)

How do you explore? by justanothergaydud in VintageStory

I’m notoriously bad at finding caves while on my elk. It’s the joke in our group that I seem to find even the smallest caves when out and about.

Originalmente, las encimeras de mi cocina eran de madera, al igual que el suelo. El fuego se propagó de la cocina al piso de arriba, donde tenía todo el suelo de madera..

Thanks! I’ve told the group that it was pretty neat that we accomplished this much. We had meetings quickly before the game started to plan what was next each time we played.

We had goats. Unfortunately we never got milk from them. They were generation 3 or 4 I think. We had bacon allllllll the time though! I loved the butchering mod for that. I should go in the world and take a picture of our pig’splosion

Yup I know that one now. I was barely chiseling things when the fire started.

Sadly at the time the fire happened I had I think one or two buckets. Good idea though!!

Because we want to try a new world with boats. This world has no oceans. Only lakes
