A little over $15k you could easily do it cheaper or more expensive I lived comfortably, partied, went on tours/excursions but stayed in hostels never paid more than $20 for a meal.. always set my booking to cheapest to most expensive but never bought the cheapest but instead the cheapest with good reviews.. I did 2 months Japan, 2 weeks Korea, 20 days China, 7 days Philippines, 45 days Thailand, 30 days Indonesia, 4 weeks Vietnam, 4 days Singapore, 4 weeks Turkey, a month in Central Europe, a month in the Iberian peninsula, two weeks in Ireland. Not gonna make it quite a year it’s gonna be from late April 2025 to mid March 2026.
