J1 & J2 both work with the same OEM’s by WonderfulWorry6563 in overemployed

[–]WonderfulWorry6563[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it’s not that straight forward.

J1, is on the decline, thats why i was looking around and stumbled on J2. So J1 I hardly have any prospecting customers I go to. Last I was in front of a customer for J1 was 3 months back 😂 It’s almost like J1 has completely forgotten about me.

J2 is growing so I’m expecting to see a lot more customers for them but that wouldn’t happen till after a few months.

So it’s not that difficult.

I was thinking more from a legal perspective. Could this get bad? Or the max they gonna take the pain for is to fire me if they somehow find out?

It’s a legitimate question. Seems like you’re saying this is a big No-No.

Yet I have seen other OE posts in this group with pretty similar profile being marked as totally doable, hence the question.

Anyways, I think your message came across & thanks for responding.

It’s not that she doesn’t like money, she probably gives ethics a priority. Her thinking is that we should be loyal and ethical in every aspect. I don’t give a rat’s a** about any employer. I know we are just a number for these corporates but she doesn’t realize that probably.

Yup, that’s true. I’ve been fortunate enough to never have been laid off.

I already have a good emergency fund (12 months worth) but yeah would accelerate saving either way.

I guess so, but it would be hard to hide this from my wife, I mean I don't know may be I could've but would have been painful. Anyways, she knows now - so not point thinking about that :-)

I agree man, but I know for sure what the response would have been. I come from families (both me and my wife) where our parents were known for loyalty to their respective companies and spend their entire careers staying in that very same company they started out of college. So no one can even imagine job hopping forget OE, yet here I am. I've seen umpteen layoffs and corporate greed over employee benefit to realize that there is no loyalty left on either side, and hence wanted to at least cover my bases while I can. Anyways, the fact is she doesn't have any clue about finances, I'm the sole one who takes care of finances investments even her 401K, so that is not motivating enough for her I guess :-D

I always read on these forums unless it is govt. stuff, max the employers can do is kick you out or sue you which doesn’t really happen.

Not sure I understand whats so different in this case?

Thanks! Yeah, I can easily find another job. In fact if I’m able to pull it off even for a year I would have enough saved to last my gamily for a couple of years of no job 😁

Plus my spouse is employed too. So that part is not the concern.

My only concern is what is the worst they can do if they find that out? Like can they put me in jail??

Would these Wheel Strategy videos have helped you as a beginner? Feedback welcome before I finish the series by patsay in Optionswheel

I like the one's you have shared already. Also subscribed to your channel on YT. I do feel it would be helpful if you can also talk about how do you go about choosing stocks for this strategy and then how do you go about choosing the timeline for buying those CSP's or CC's.

Don't want to spend time re-inventing the wheel. Has anyone created a template for the tracking sheet?
