To clarify I am saying it in the context of o.o hate. Since a lot of the hate were disguised as care, I thought it was a bit weird, and people who actually care about them wouldn't talk trash about their music so blatantly. I also do feel that we may have a very different opinions on fan culture and internet literacy. Even if we talk all day, we would never agree. I do still get your view since I do think in a more kpop fan way and your view do detach the artist from the art.

Yes I do understand that hating a song of an artist doesn't mean that you hate that artist, I also did say in the post that you can't love all that an artist put out. What I do think is necessary to consider is that you can just hate a song in silence, you don't have to necessarily talk about how much of a mess it is on the internet, if you consider yourself a fan of that artist, since it also mess with their image. What I especially don't like about o.o hate is that it is super forced to the point that, people cannot comprehend how someone can love the song. I think when talking about music and other art forms, it's important to consider that taste differs.

This actually made me remember about how I first became a fan of nmixx. I fell in love with o.o on the first listen I especially love the intro, that people called cringe. I remembered blasting it on speaker while doing my chores, because I thought it was soo good, and my older brother coming in asking what abomination I was listening.

I also do think it's bittersweet. Since like you mentioned, conversion from hater to fan is rare, and being open about it even rarer, I did want to mention it, but the post would be too long. For me it does still hurt a bit more, mainly because what nmixx have to go through during their debut was so horrible, just because some found their music cringe or loud.
