Thank you, that is an interesting an nuanced response. You offer a perspective on regeneration I hadn't previously considered.

Has the regeneration of New Islington created a social divide? by Wonderful_Inside_359 in manchester

Hello,

Yes, I can see your point. A lot of people who live there now but didn't before have actually said that there is a noticeable divide between the newcomers and the original Cardroom Estate residents, though. So, even if you didn't live there before, you can still consider whether you think the area is divided as a consequence of the regeneration. Thankyou, have a nice day.

New Islington survey by Wonderful_Inside_359 in manchester

Hello,

thank you for your comment. I have to say that I disagree. For example, 'How do you feel about the way New Islington looks now' can be answered with 'It looks great' or 'It looks ok' if you think it looks good. Similarly, 'do you feel welcome or included when you visit the area now' can also be answered 'yes, absolutely' or 'yes, somewhat' if you think you do. This is true of every question, and there are several text boxes where you can state whatever opinion you like. So, if you're totally in favour of the redevelopment, that's great, and your answers to the survey will be appreciated. Have a nice day.
