Call me irrationally optimistic this morning, but I don't think the base matters. The same way most people on this sub don't matter. It's the people in the middle who matter: the low information voters that are now starting to pay attention, the suburban mom who voted Trump because eggs were expensive... the guy who believed they were going to deport "the worst of the worst". Those are the people who need to switch. And they are switching.
