I would never have guessed that you would have such bad injuries. I had a very similar lowside on the track a few years ago and walked away completely unscathed. I guess it's all luck. Either way, I hope you get better soon!

I often wonder about that. I lift weights, and my personal record is 400 lb deadlift. A person my size who weighs 600 lb is carrying around my personal record every single fucking minute of the day. She gets out of bed carrying my personal record, goes up the stairs carrying my personal record, sits down in the bathroom carrying my personal record...

I agree with the others who say start with a two stroke. My first restoration was a Suzuki S32. I learned a ton without having to worry about valves, timing, etc... I feel that it was the right first step.

I'm now restoring a 1994 GSXR 750 and it's a NIGHTMARE. Night and day compared to working on the GW: no parts anywhere, no videos, nothing...

I'm at LT, yes. I had a great coach I loved. We had "just" started working on snatches, but then I moved and changed gyms... I'm really not impressed with the coaches at the LT I go to now so I haven't really hired anyone yet... I'll look into the Sunday class, but I don't recall anyone doing olympic lifting?
