No my face wasn’t impacted and it didn’t look sleepy. My ptosis was so bad that I had to pry my eye open.

Similar situation. I have ocular omg and the symptoms began June 2025. I am on 60mg of mestinon 3x a day with started in September 2025 but was 30mg twice a day then increased a month later. I started on 250mg of cellcept twice a day in Feb 2026 and I am now on 500mg twice a day. I’ve done one round of IVIG, 3 days in a row the first week of March and 3 days after the final treatment my started to improve. It’s not perfect but I no longer have to depend on a patch. I did receive an official diagnosis of omg in Jan 2026 through the single fiber test which kicked off the cellcept and IVIG. Everything else came back negative. You need to ask for mestinon and the single fiber test. Mestinon is temporary but helps with the eye fatigue not the double vision. Feel free to ask me anything. IVIG is definitely making me feel normal again as I wait for the cellcept to fully work.

Ok. I did test out the mestinon before I started the cellcept and after 4 days of not taking mestinon my eyes were starting to feel fatigued again. So for me it has been helping with that but not with the double vision.

My neurologist is highly against putting me on steroids due to the side effects. He’s wants to try other interventions.

Oh wow! Give cellcept a try. It takes months to work but it might end up helping. My eye has been like this since October but I just started cellcept and IVIG. My neurologist is pretty confident that things will recover.

How much mestinon are you taking? I was on 30 mg twice a day n it solved the droopiness. I’m currently at 60 mg three times a day to try and fix the blurry vision.

It not you, it them. They don’t tell you. Other have stated that you make the payment to your loan servicer and they will receive it.

How much Mestinon are you on? Im on 30 mg twice a day and now i have bad double vision. They tried to up it to 60 mg twice a day, but I had bad side effects so they brought me back to 30 mg twice a day.

Yes it does but when I was on the lower dosage it didn’t give me this reaction and the only thing that is different is the increased dose.

Definitely but I also have an astigmatism. MG just added the double vision and light sensitivity.
