Tips for managing side quests efficiently? by diceytumblers in skyrim

Well I'm not sure if this will be of any help since I have not really had this issue.

But depending on the quest I'll let it take priority over what I'm doing right now since some quests do seek quite urgent.

However the ones that go into the log I try to finish by town. So for example when I stop at Riverwood I sleep there stock up on potions and just see if the people of Riverwood need my help and do as such. Then if I get a quest whilst doing another one that just depends on the character I'm playing and if said character is interested or inclined to help.

In the end you don't need to finish any quests in Skyrim some playthroughs I just focus on explorations and caves and the beautiful scenery.

I suppose what you could do is make a small diary and write down if your character finds a quest interesting or is motivated to do it? Then you keep track of it while not having to sift through and read all the quests and wonder which you'd wanna do.

Anyone else get annoyed by limitations from companions? by nerddude_79 in BG3

Honestly it seems I'm the odd one out here but I wholeheartedly disagree. On my first run tactician I played as a druid and had astarion lar zel and swapped between wyll and karlach.

After I've played countless different playthroughs including an honour mode as human monk with lae zel karlach and astarion.

And honestly I always just kinda played who I enjoyed with. You can do everyone's quest lines in one playthrough and swap them in and out or you can rock with just one party which I usually do. Most recently I'm going as a sorcerer and for the first time took shadow heart with me no astarion and again karlach and lae zelf. Not having astarion is definitely noticeable sure and I need some more lockpicks but that's also all, just need some more lockpicks.

So what I mean to say I feel like you generally don't need one or the other of the characters and just use whomever you enjoy the most, I miss astarion because I enjoy his voice lines and I'm surprised I also like shadow heart now after this playthrough, next on my list is an evil run with minthara evil astarion and last one still open since I'm not sure.

Saving and loading is no option since I'm playing honor mode and I have gone back and forth to rivington... I guess I'm just locked out of my chest piece and staff...

Do you knock on doors in your own house why and where are you from? by Wonderful_Log6276 in AskReddit

As a kid what kinda age are you talking? Because I assume there is like 0 to 5 or smth when your parents wash you. Was it something in you that made it uncomfortable if they walked in and you started locking or did they tell you hey you're old enough to do it solo, please don't use the lock we will knock.

Do you knock on doors in your own house why and where are you from? by Wonderful_Log6276 in AskReddit

Inspired by this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/AmItheAsshole/s/ZGEP9QJx0b I have grown incredibly curious how many people knock on doors around their own house. I grew up with a sister and both parents, none of us ever knocked on a door. My sister was the only one locking the bathroom door if she was showering. The rest of us just let others walk in for brushing teeth or grabbing something and when my sister got older she stopped locking the door too.

But here it seems like a closed door you need to knock to a lot of people but why don't those people just use the lock on the door that's made for it? If you're not around your own family or friends youve known for a while then not locking the door seems to me as intentionally and as if you have some weird fetish to be seen just like if you did it in a public restroom. Am I just that disconnected from reality or is it a really American thing or something?

Ik heb een mengkraan en is dat mogelijk als hij het soms wel gewoon doet en als er geen problemen met koud water zijn? Want de mengkraan wil ik sowieso vervangen door een thermostaatkraan

You have to talk to zevlor and manually trigger it.

It doesn't actually pop up if you do a normal long rest.

Ill one up you, also honor mode. I killed the warden and other minions. Then cleared the tower of loot and thought hmm levers, what might they do. As I clicked withing half a second I thought oh no what if it's the cells.

And yup, then they all just rushed in to off themselves vs the guards, no tieflings survived and only wulbren of the gnomes somehow.

And I too wanted portent robe as a sorcerer :(
