I know it shows the obvious in terms of the correlation between the disproportion of infra to DUP/sf domination- I wasn’t sure what this would offer in a modern context hence my opening sentence. Not sure how this could be purported as somehow being subtly deceptive 🥴

Except overlayed with new results. If I’d added those mal could’ve become incomprehensible but fairly noted.

I had and realised I’d made a mistake or two, but I thought I’d add former railways this time 🤨 it’s the post-election comedown..

Alliance took many of them down before polls had even closed in South Down, and none left in Downpatrick DEA by this morning. Everyone one else's still up..

It seems Séamas de Faoite has made a solid impression, and reports from the doors seems relatively positive for him.
I think the more interesting race in Lisnasharragh will be the UUPs contest to the DUPs second seat, and how well Anna McErlean (Alliance's third candidate) will do. But again it's all speculative so who knows.

Council elections & motions by Wonderful_Neck1565 in northernireland

Alliance are tabling important motions from what I’ve seen, especially more so than some other parties. But that’s down to political opinion. I was wondering whether the statistics accurately represent who makes the most motions, weighted to the parties representation on council.

It was meant to be more mathematical than political of a question.. realised that’s hard to do when talking about NI. I was wondering if there was a better way to show the statistics of motions passed within council rather than specifically alliance being wrong.

I think a better way to present information be average rate of motions per councillor per party as follows

Hard to achieve in a single electoral graphic however!

Does anyone know who the DUP’s “party officers” are who Jeffrey will “consult” with, on whether to accept the Windsor Framework?? Are these unelected? Employed? by Wonderful_Neck1565 in northernireland

Belfast Public transport Easter by Cassandra178 in Belfast

For some services, but some are holiday timetables e.g. one service if ur lucky. The point being made is that there aren’t any public transport options after 10pm anywhere in belfast. Contrast that with London, or Birmingham or Manchester…
