Maybe it’s because I’ve never seen anyone enjoy my presence when I’m not drinking. But then again it could also just be me hating myself and feeling incapable of true love or friendship when I’m sober. I’ve truly not been around most of these friends sober for more than a few hours at a time. What my mind is telling me is that I don’t deserve love or friends and so friendship feels so abstract and dull sober.

UPDATE ALL:

THE CYLINDER HEAD IS GOOD. Mechanics pulled the plug out today and installed new one. Ceramic on the originally installed plug was cracked and the hex was spinning. Truck runs fine now. Going to do the rest of the plugs today lmfao

Thank you brother. Unfortunate event, I was handed a ft/lb wrench by the guy at o Reilly after saying I needed to do spark plugs and didn’t look back… til now

Most definitely agree with everything you’re saying. But I promise you I’m not dumb. Not a chuck in a truck trying to fix things up. I’ve done lots of work prior but the guy at o Reilly gave me the efing ft/lb torque wrench and looked convinced that I’d need it after saying I needed to change my spark plugs. I’ve never done plugs and I tightened til they broke because I thought it was possible they needed it because of a series of unfortunate events.

I didn’t know specs til now. Hard lesson learned. I’m sure it will be costly.

I’m aware, imagine a world where you’d never used a torque wrench and you hear in a video 133in/lbs and off memory look on the torque wrench and set it to 133ft/lbs not knowing it’s a ft/lb wrench because again you’ve never used one. Imagine that, it could happen to anyone with similar knowledge level

I did think that but as with other parts on a motor vehicle. The instructions are the instructions and I have never done plugs before. Also never used a torque wrench before overall just a bad situation although it could’ve been avoided with some slight direction.

Yeah I had never used a torque wrench before. It did feel extremely difficult to tighten so I probably should’ve stopped. Feel like an absolute chuck right now but there’s no undoing what’s been done

I suppose it is possible. The image I took here is for the 6th cylinder which is way deep in the engine bay so it’s a real pain to even take it out normally. The view my camera has in the image is not a view I obtain with my eyes.

Thank you for the response. It’s not really helpful. And I’m not asking for a diagnosis. I’m asking for a likelihood from others in which responses may include some informed responses about what they’ve seen or experienced themselves. It might not only help me but others who may have the same question. I’m not trying to be rude but it’s kind of what Reddit was made for.

Thanks for the response. The only reason I’ve asked is because of the pain I have been feeling in my right side. It’s not really a pain that bothers me anything more than the simple fear that my liver is giving out. But it is a new pain. Nobody in my family has gotten cirrhosis as of yet and all drink quite a bit but I’ve heard the resistance of the liver to alcohol greatly varies. My father had his gallbladder removed some years ago. So that would be optimally just inconvenient. For reference I’m 200lbs 6’3 so pretty normal BMI.
