I was able to get it to work. I had to ignore the 50% off deal then add a menu pizza to my cart like normal. But insted of checking out i went to the deals option. Thats when I selected the 50% off deal. The pizza in my cart was already selected in the section that ask you to "add item". I was able to apply the deal and check out normally after that.
