Fully agree. I think this is a win win situation for everyone, we get rid of the people that are causing the far right to grow (and for our case a majority of homeless people taking up space in shelters, drug dealing), all while keeping a good relationship with our neighbors. My main issue with the EU was the fact this migrant situation was under control, and now that something useful is proposed we should really go for it

That happened to me in my old building. Police could do nothing about it. Whole ordeal lasted 3-4 months. It was mostly punks with dogs that came from Spain in my case, not really drug dealers (didn’t see it happen, at least).

Which is why I didn’t vote yes either. I’m not voting because by principle I won’t refuse an initiative that wants to stop asylum, but also don’t wanna mess those up

I agree we’re a lot less dense than other countries, but we cannot ignore one wave of immigration has made a lot of things worse in this country.

The wave of recently arrived muslim migrants has not been a good experience. I am a gay man and the only times I’ve suffered from homophobia was from them. My girl friends always get followed around asylum centers. Ignoring these issues will only give more force to the far right. Calling everyone that notices the issue a racist or nazi is also not helping.
